high pressure air from an air gun works the best after a dusty day on the trails, need to get me some knobbies been hitting some sand near some washes its quite scary at high speeds
We do not rate any of our boards to be water-resistant but in newer models, we have made every effort we can to protect the electrical components in accidental situations. The Hadean, GTR and Stoke Series 1 and 2 have dust seals that run the perimeter of the casing, along with conformal coating as added element protection. Although we have taken this extra effort, the electronics, bearings and other components may be damaged due to water which is not covered by warranty.
^^ 100% this. Just out of curiosity, what are you using for lube? I have tried a bunch of specialist products but found the best is also be the cheapest... good old 3-in-1 machine oil.
I have a yeeplay electric skateboard and one of the wheel hub Motors completely rusted filled up all the way and it's locked so how do I clean it or find a cheap replacement
@@evolveSkateboardsForgive me if I’m wrong here, but the isopropyl alcohol you use to clean bearings in the other video is a clear liquid as you’d expect. The liquid you’re using to clean the board here is a milky colour and looks more like a soapy cleaning solution of some kind. Was hoping to find out the brand. I’d also be very surprised if you would use isopropyl alcohol to clean the board itself - would make the board stink of alcohol and wouldn’t do the wood any good. Are you sure you understood which bottle I meant? The greyish one he sprays all over the board. Apologies if it is indeed what you say, but it doesn’t seem right to me! Thanks 🙏🏻
... not. lol Check both inner and outer rubber seals for the battery compartment and make sure they have been installed properly from the factory -- VERY IMPORTANT -- mine were not. And, do yourself a favour and treat the electronic components, PCB's etc with "Corosion-X" before it's too late. The stuff is not cheap, and there is only a handful of places where you can buy it, but it is industry standard and is by far the best product on the market.
While we have multiple points of sealing and treat the electronics with conformal coating, these are fail-safes in case you get in an unlucky situation. We don't recommend mixing electronics and water.
A brush will get the job done, or if its really caked in there you can removed ALL electronics from the deck and pressure hose the deck. We do not recommend doing this on the Carbon Hadean.
really important action to do aways, not just in some cases.
Haha literally cleaning mine as I got the notification for this video
We hope you have some new tips and tricks ready for next time then!
I know, right!... pretty trip timing, I actually did the regular strip/clean on my bamboo yesterday. lol
Awesome advice, great to see you guys providing further advice for your customers 👌
Love these types of videos where we learn from the experts. I am crossing my fingers that my mum and dad might have got me one for Xmas. 🤞
Did u get it
🔥 Nice tips, thanks guys! Will be useful when I will have an Evolve board 😍
Thanks for the tips! If only I can recieved my board on time Iwould be doing this 😢

Excellent, good to know how to brake not break😊
Very thorough tutorial!
This is an incredibly satisfying video. Also, If you happen to run through a puddle or get caught in the rain will it destroy the board?

@@evolveSkateboards good to know, thank you!
I use a garden hose. Works pretty good. But i do dry it with a towel right after and place it in a warm room.
We definitely don't recommend hosing the board down!
Very good video. You should open the bearings and clear them before putting lube, otherwise you keep dust inside 😉

@@markthomas625 I use the same classic oil, probably half the price of skateboard bearings oil 😂
Let’s see a video then - come on Pierro, show us how?

Isopropyl Alcohol!

It's was so helpful
Thanks guys.👍
How often do should I clean my board?
Completely up to you and depending on the condition you ride in! We would recommend frequent checks to ensure your board is up to speed 😃
Super useful!
Love this bro 🤞 🙏 🤝
I'm curious, what's the waterproof rating on this board?
... not. lol

What about heavily muddy griptape though?
