I've been playing Mario Kart 8 back on Wii U since I was in the 5th Grade, now I'm playing it on Switch and am about to start my first year of College in September 💀
Even though I wish we get a Mario kart 9 someday I will always appreciate Mario kart 8 because it basically got me through all of my school years and now I’m in college now lol.
I kinda wish they did it with more real car companies like Toyota and porsche. It would be cool to see mario in a celica rally or a 911 or boxer like the taco bell ad
How does this video only have 173 likes (including mine) when you have over 8k subscribers? This video is very well made, a tad outdated (mkt is no longer getting new content updates), but it's still very well made. I really enjoyed watching it. Actually, recently I've been able to try out mk8 on the wii u, because I have a friend who somehow has not gotten a switch yet, and let me tell you, it's a very different experience. The menus really gave me whiplash because of how dated it looks. At least the controls (on the wii u gamepad) are the same, so I did pretty decent against my friends. I still had a fun time playing it on the wii u for the first time*. * Technically it wasn't my first time, as I'm pretty sure I played it years and years ago, before the switch came out, but I barely remember that, so I'm counting my most recent play of the wii u version as my first real playthrough.
I really hate the idea of a Nintendo kart. It just doesn’t seem like a good idea to me. Smash Bros is already the crossover series. There really doesn’t need to be another one. Mario kart games usually have around 30 tracks (Mario kart 8 blows that out of the water now but that’s the exception) and depending on how many series are used, that would mean be each series would only be able to get a certain number of tracks. Mario kart by itself already doesn’t use the Mario series to its fullest potential so that would just be amplified with even more IPs. Plus even if they do a Nintendo kart they’re definitely not gonna call it that. They definitely would keep it called Mario kart for brand recognition. I say just keep it Mario kart for have a few gas characters and tracks
I get a slight kick from seeing some fans feel 8 deluxe got ruined for them. It’s hilarious how many comments I see all over TH-cam who whine over Tour tracks and the dlc as a whole. If the graphics aren’t photorealistic then people can’t find any fun in the tracks. Lol. For many years I never knew how spoiled and twisted some MK fans are, I’m not referring to you the person who uploaded the video btw, just ranting about others. And yeah you are correct about the dlc being 100% Tour tracks, even Sundae and Yoshi’s Island are made for Tour found as Tour tracks in Tour’s files. All dlc tracks are Tour. I’m glad to experience some Tour nostalgia in a console MK.
