This might be my favorite song of theirs. Henrik wrote the lyrics and asked in Swedish radio he stated that he wasn’t comfortable discussing the content publicly. Got to love these boys ❤️
One reason that Henrik and Aron are so tight is that Aron writes most of the bass parts. I was backstage in NYC and spoke with Henrik and that is what he told me. Ambassador Jenks
Listen to all the insane vocal layers which Jonah’s put down at the very beginning! Just one of the components maybe of what you describe as a cloud or a ‘floating in the air’ effect, not sure :) And then those harmonies 🔥 Henrik slaying those bass grooves 🔥 and how he’s locking in with Aron and replicating his fills- The pocket in this piece 🔥 All three are so incredible, there just are no words And the ending - hilarious 🤣 Bagpipes and Scratching are all taking the … (The scratcher is/was some sport coach famous for scratching under his arms and behind his ears 😂) Andreas Ekstedt though is for real, a Swedish percussionist (and scientist), featuring on many of D Loops recordings. Next up you could check out “World On Fire” or their ballad “Breakdown”, all from that same album of theirs, Phoenix. Also, “Turbo” from that collab with Cory Wong, is quite the neck breaking journey ☺️💥 Enjoy the trip, thanks for another super react and yeah, it would be hard to hold off listening to all of their stuff in one day!! 😉 Much appreciated tho 👍
Regardless of all the other skills I probably don't have to become a successful TH-cam reactor. I could not possibly resist, say discovering Dirtyloops and then attempting to harness the disicpline to NOT just dive in and listen to everything. I do not know how you do it. But thanks cause the blind reactions you do are fun and edifying. Great job!
My favorite part of these credits was the nod to Schnappi, Das Kleine Krokodil! If you're not familiar with him, Schnappi is an adorable German kids song with a fun animated video, you should look it up.
You should watch some playthroughs and drum cams by Patrick Galante. He plays for Ice Nine Kills, and is an incredibly drummer. He also do backing vocals live
Breakdown is great, a bit more laid back for Dirty Loops, and the older stuff is so sweet to revisit, all those brilliant, technical and musically advanced (offcourse) versions of other artists songs.."Ta Fête" is amazing, "Hit Me" is a total banger.
I enjoyed your reaction. DL's energy is infectious, especially this. I like this a lot anyway, but even more because in the stacked backing vocals it sounds like one voice is in the chorus singing "I just want to, I really do... *F*ck You",* Once I thought I heard it, it's hard to get out of mind. _"SONGS FOR LOVERS - COFFEE BREAK IS OVER"_ next? Maybe consider doing a little demo of the drum part. I appreciate it might be a lot more time, effort and might need equipment you don't have at home. So it's just a thought. Best Wishes. ☮
@@teckreactions I'd be fine with practice pads. I was wondering if maybe practice pads might do it, but I then thought you might need another camera. Then you might need video editing software you don't have. Then you will need more time. ... I have no idea how much time and effort it might take. But it might be worth making a (separate?) video to 'test the water'? Or maybe offer to do it if folks are so interested they'll buy you a coffee or something. *Summary:* it's very easy for me to suggest more work for you. However, you have a family, and finite time, so please don't spend time on making a drum demo unless it is quick and easy. Or it 'scratches an itch'. Best Wishes. ☮
@@teckreactions It might be worth doing, I think you would really enjoy it. The story goes that the drummer, Larnell Lewis, learned the performance on the flight there the day prior.
When you started talking about what Aron was doing... I started loosing interest in your reaction video. I am a pro drummer myself, but I did not expect the "lecture" in how easy it is... I just went like... 🙄
Another banger. Everyone gets a chance to shine on this one. I also love how much energy they put into just messing with people.
Also Coffee Break is Over and Bitten by the Kitten
08:53 I love that the entire series of triplets are 16ths but on the last beat it's suddenly 8ths, so it feels we're slowing down into the groove
Next one HAS to be World On Fire!
Sweet
Ahh, the Sonic the Hedgehog Chemical Plant Zone one!

Crazy!
"they didnt even end it on the root" haha was waiting for that :P
Dang what a groove! 🔥🔥🔥
FOR REAL!
I mentioned before: Breakdown.
It’s mandatory.
They are having so much fun! Loved the song, loved the groove, but most of all, I really enjoyed watching these guys enjoy what they were doing.
I drove 8 hours to Houston to watch them last weekend. Worth every second
Awesome!
My favorite Dirty Loops song.
I love it
HIT ME..... has to be on the dirty loops list. I love their new stuff, but their older stuff is Amazing
Now we need to slow it down with a ballad.... Breakdown!!!!!!!
Loved your dance and reaction to this one! 😄👍 Love this song and loooooove Dirty Loops. Much love from 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
Love your Dirty Loops reactions, young man! Enthusiasm and technical knowledge are a happy combination. 👍
I appreciate that!

Awesome. Loved, loved listening to them watching you react to it.
One can notice you are into it and know music really well👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😁
I´m here, by your side for your continuing journey
The sound in the background that sounds like a guitar, is actually a synth.

You're right - they are grooving so hard! :-) Great to follow your journey into the Dirty Loops catalog!
Rock on!
Loving your DL reactions!
Thank you!! 😁

I have heard this song soo many times but today I just heard som Gino Vanelli in the intro of the song. Someone else?
I love the wooshing sound the kick makes in the transition into the chorus!
great stuff once again. blessings bro
Much appreciated
The "wicka, wicka, wicka" is not a guitar. That is a keyboard, as well as the horns.
The horn players are listed in the credits at the end of the song. I'll bet they'd be really surprised to discover that they're a keyboard. 🙂

I’d love to. I don’t have space to set up my kit. I might try utilizing a practice pad kit.

Seems you have fallen into the loophole, haha!
This one sounds 98% like a Michael Jackson classic, like when he was young and on top of the world. Except a little fancier 😄
Mi recomendación para la próxima reacción sería: " The Way She Walks and Accidentaly in love" Versión ¡AUDIO! Para que puedas apreciar cada detalle 😊
Bring me the horizon- oh no
Do the royal Albert Hall and studio plz
What's with the leather jackets? A hint; Leather/Rock!!😀
I’m going to wear my leather jacket on the next reaction.
05:24 I think it's a synth tho
Matt, you will have to watch out for Myxomatosis, with all these rabbit holes you are going down. 😜
What's that?
@@teckreactions A severe virus disease of rabbits.
💙💛
Have you done Snarky Puppy - Lingus (We like it here)?
I have not.
@@teckreactions It might be worth doing, I think you would really enjoy it.

Ok Joker ...if it's that easy get behind the kit and show us
I didn’t say it was easy. I said, “if you PRACTICE IT, it’s easy to execute.” - Joker.

¿Where are your "professional" videos?
That's fine. You're welcome to skip forward. Others who are not drummers like us got a kick out of it.
