    Thanks for a timely informative video. I find that myself as a long term dividend investor that I have to be reminded that if you have quality dividend etf's that you have to look past the noise in the market and just chill out. Having said that it's also up to each individual to have a contingency plan so we can weather ' perfect storm events' should they arrive. Keep the great content coming !

    I’m looking at this 7 months later. Good conversation on ENB. I like the bias confirmation since I’ve been an owner since it was called Interprovincial Pipelines. 📈💰😁

    Excellent video, Adrian!
    In light of the current volatility, you should give your guests the floor for a few minutes to give their insights of the current market conditions and how their investment strategies and funds are affected -- much like in today's video. I think it will give your viewers confidence that the fund managers are actively thriving from the opportunities.

    Hi, what I see when I make some research on Enbridge is that it has a high level of debt (ratio is 122% which is high), that the debt is not well covered by operating cash flow (16%) and that interest payments on its debt are not well covered by EBIT (2.7x coverage). Short term assets (CA$9.0B) do not cover ists short term liabilities(CA$14.0B). I think that is the problem that made investors acting with prudence! Even if analyst forecast that the stock price will rise by 25% and that some thinks it is undervalued by 30%.....those metrics matters. 😬On the positive side, on Sept7, 89 940 shares were bought by insiders.....

      People have being saying this about Enbridge for decades. Enbridge is not in any danger of not paying their debt,or cutting the dividend. Enbridge has more than enough cash flow and future contracts to cover everything in their obligations. But hey,if you don’t understand their business and don’t want to invest in that company,then definitely don’t invest. If it doesn’t make sense to you,then it’s not for you. And that’s perfectly fine.

    • @jacquesfournier4616
      @jacquesfournier4616 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did not said enb was good or bad, just that red flags were raised by people who have the time to look deep into financials, which I honestly don't have. I don't owne enb or ens anymore, perferring to use encc instead, which is diversified and performing good. If you like enb it is ok, the same people raising the flags also tells that it is undervalued...so...@@derekcox6531

      Any reason why you would want to buy both and not just ENS? I have both but I have been considering to swap ENB for ENS. The swap opportunity is currently at its best and getting better. Any reason why I should not? (I bought ENB before knowing about ENS)

      Do you think this guy is biased in favor of Enbridge? I mean if he thought they were going to cut the dividend and he said so I think it would be bad for his business.

    • @dkyrtata6688
      @dkyrtata6688 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Ian-of9oi Anything is possible, but a fund manager who manages a fund based on one stock must have good reasons for doing so. And how can we trust that the CEO of Enbridge was up front about everything to the fund manager?
      It does not really matter because as an investor of ENS, I would want to know all the insights he has on Enbridge even if he is biased.
      A recent article in the Globe and Mail (Oct 20) has this headline: "Don’t lose sleep over Enbridge’s dividend." It speaks favorably of how Enbridge is positioning itself for the future (by recent acquisitions for clean energy companies) and the safety of its dividend.
      I am not worried about ENB and ENS. For the first time in over a year, ENS is a lot cheaper then ENB because of the negative leverage effect of ENS

    Hey, great video! I'm wondering why ENS hasn't raised it's distribution in about 4.5 years when Enbridge has raised it's dividend consistantly? Are there plans to add more to the distribution?
