I have owned both of these ETFs since inception and continue to be impressed with their performance. Hamilton managers are outstanding stewards of shareholder investments. Very well done !!
Love love love this! Total transparency from all involved and wow, what performances from the two funds. Kudos to Hamilton for their prudent approach and to you Adrian for exposing these strategies to those of us who never knew there was any other way to invest except with “advisors”.

How do you feel about the loss of 35% of your ETF value in the past 2 yrs ? A 10% yeild is great, but it seems that since inception HYLD has taken a big hit.
@gavinhassett479 I'm actually up in both positions and my yield is higher then 10%.. so what are you referencing? Alot od regular paying dividend stocks have yet to recover from 22 so I will gladly continue to invest in these funds.

Great video with Hamilton today. Glad to be a customer of their funds. They have great performance ETF funds and the transparency to make great content like this.

@@TheProjectOverloadeven with the distributions HYLD is down.... if you bought at the lowest point a couple months ago its great... buying 2 yrs ago would be a loss
All comments and hypes is about raising dividend of HYLD & HDIV, which is absolutely awesome but how about the MER they are charging for these ETFs? In my opinion they are quite high, correct me if I'm wrong about that please!
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting Okay I understand but if the returns are NET of all fees, then if the fees were less doesn't that mean the returns would have been higher?

No. They’re in Canadian dollars and targeted for Canadian tax advantage etc. Americans have the best and biggest market in the world. If I was American I’d look for American etfs. But that’s just my opinion.
Theses Hamilton’s funds have 25% leverage, that’s helps to track or surpassing their respectives indexes. This do not minimize the good job Hamilton is doing running them.

Amazing video...we'll done Adriano. You're doing amazing work. I have +/- 250k generating +/- 32k yearly income. I'm not all in yet because I'm waiting for other investments to mature. My first goal is to have my wife retire early. Eventually, in the next 3 to 5 years, I should hit +/- 800k invested and that should generate +/- 100k a year. I'm looking forward to my retirement. Thank you Adriano!
I think people need to be very careful blindly following this guy. He appears to just chase ETF's with high yield, ignoring capital erosion. He crows about this great announcement about dividend increases. The div on hyld is just back to where it was 2 years ago. Full disclosure. I own both hyld and hdiv. I like them both and think they are a good addition to any income focused portfolio. My complaint is this guy is pushing all these high yield etfs based solely on the yield. Pretty simple arithmetic. If your investment is yielding 10% but you have incurred 15% capital loss your down 5% not up 10. Be careful about blindly taking this guys advice!
HDIV since inception is down a tenth of a percent in capital appreciation. Currently making over 12% a year in distributions. If you bought it while it was down you’d be laughing right now. Like me.

One of the best videos out there on HYLD

it was a game changer for the income investor in general! the very first leveraged "all in one" CC ETF!
Great interview! Everything that HYLD & HDIV investors want to know, and want to hear!
HDIV has been on a pretty good tear since last October ;-)
This distribution increase put me over a major income milestone so I'm doubly thrilled!
That's has been a great update. Love these funds, I'm growing it as much as I can. Thanks for the update, Adrian ❤
Awesome 👏🏻 love this update & also love that TFSA success story ❤
Great Q&A Thank you guys !
Are they distributing Capital or just proceeds of the Option strategies?
Whatever they earn from all sources less at least 1% as a cushion
At the money options and LOTS of return of capital
Excellent presentation 💯
I'm very happy as these are my 2 biggest holdings!!!
It's down over 18 percent since inception.. much better funds
