I think I first started using field notes around...2012ish? Just the standard ones, didn’t sub until a couple years ago. But I started using one from my first pack to track all the things I was digging through and finding amongst my grandparents’ storage. From then on...like you I have them all over and more than I need 😂
They are sadly pretty expensive in Canada. Best deal I can find is about 17.50$ + tx which is about 20$. If you take the number of pages for 3 packs which is 48X3=144 and you divide 20$ by that number, this give an astounding 14 cents for each page! And when I say page, I don't mean sheet but yeah page. So my main concern about this is if I will prevent myself of taking creative note because I will not be able to stop thinking about that price. Want to draw a thing for fun on one page ... 15 cents. It's not a lot of money say that way but I write about 5--7 pages each day which is about 1$ a day so 7$ a week so 365$ a year. That is a lot of money for a lot of people out there. I compared with the Moleskine of same size and it's about half the price because each notebook have 64 pages and the price in Canada before taxes is 13.50$. But man, Field Notes are sooooooo nice and sooooo coooooooollll!!! :D

Haha, sorry, sorry, I couldn’t help but take a peek inside your yellow Autumn Trilogy FN. I’m a big FN fan (have over 85 in my collection 😄) and I’m curious to see how other people use theirs.
