Thanks for the video. for 2014 CRV, I tried without getting off the engine mount.
One option to get a new belt on smoothly: 1. use a strong string to pull the handle of the ratchet to hold the tensioner loose completely . 2. get the pulley of the power steering off(but keep the mount get on well). 3. get the belt on the pulley well. 4. snug the central bolt for the pulley. 5. use ratchet to tight it. 6. all is done.
the reason is that the new belt is very tight and very hard to try to pull on the pulley even you make the tensioner completely loose completly. hope it helpful for you.
Thank you for plugging in. Yes it’s doable and my understanding is you have to break down the ps tensioner into 2 parts without interference with the engine mount. I would do the similar way if it were my car. Just because my friend worried about the integrity of the new parts, I went to this route.

Honda的老timing belt更換也是噩夢，修過這麼多前驅，Volvo的設計可以說是最好的，沒有之一。
按节目进度的话，我换honda v6 J series engine timing belt的视频应该在3-4月份出来
When you took that mount off did you have to jack up the engine to hold it?
Thank you for the question. Yes, before you disconnect the big bolt between the engine mount and the engine, you have to support rather than jack up the engine from the bottom of the oil pan using a piece of wood and floor jack, just give a little bit upward tension. The engine will sag a little regardless as once the passenger side engine mount is disconnected because the remaining support is uneven. You may have to rock the engine slightly to line up the bolt hole when putting everything back together.

@@maxfixit_DIY 几年前还不会DIY的时候我的FIT请人换过一个starter，当时还觉得工时还有点贵LOL。最近oil pan漏油想重新打一下RTV，然而发现压缩机是锁在oil pan上面的，感觉不拆掉水箱不一定能把螺栓抽出来，有点怂
