I love selling things I bought decades ago. I sold a tire pump that I purchased 40 years ago for a camping trip to Baja Mexico advertised as "complete with vintage Baja dirt". I found I had about 30 Coleman lantern mantles that I paid 95 cents for about forty years ago and sold for multiple of what I paid for them. Will be selling almost everything I own before moving to another country.
@@patland1762 boy I wanna do that move too.
Thank you for everything you do for the community.
@@adrian.1983 thanks for those words I appreciate it😊
It hurts old sellers too
Decimates. Not just “hurts”…
"I'm just gonna make my wife find it." That was hilarious!!😂
Appreciate all the time you take to upload videos. Can you do a video on creating all type of business policies for different categories if possible. Thank you for all you do.
Solid advice, Jake. Thanks, brutha!
Hey I know it's a lot to ask but I've been watching you for quite a while and I wondered if you could try to mention that the things you're selling or picking up sell in that model and colorway it might help new sellers understand what you're saying. I know that that's a lot to ask and not your responsibility, but I thought I would put it out there
Digger! I didn't used to be but was recently at a goodwill with other pickers there, jumping all over new carts, the works. Anyway I started going through the racks and found soooo many high selling through items they didn't even touch!!! In less than a month I only have like four items from 16!😂
I'm a Swift-Digger!! ... Definitely NOT a swifty! 🤣🤣🤣
I am definitely a Digger! Jake, thanks so much for your videos. I glean lots of useful advice from you.
Love to what your video 😊good content as always
Where do you buy a cartoon organization for sunglasses and remotes? I need something like this to organize my storage.
Search 5000 count baseball card box on eBay or Amazon
I’m a bit in between. I do a scan for obvious good finds and then come back to look closer.
Can you link the bags you use for remotes and eyeglasses
hey J i follow you a lot thank your for all the solid videos and great information. I sale on ebay myself and really interested to learn how you do your shipping. i heard you do not ship thru ebay and use your cash back credit card. i would really like to apply that to the way i ship but dont know where to start. Any info would be really greatful
glad you sold something you bought off me!
I’m a swifter and definitely not a Swiftie. Lol
I have a return for a projector. Buyer claims it was damaged durimg shipping but i bubble wrapped that thing like a mummy and put it in beteewn packing paper.
Fed Ex?
@@OwO---0bamasPersonalChef---OwO usps
Things get damaged during shipping sometimes, especially electronics. I sell A LOT of electronic items. Something could have potentially shifted/ or moved inside the projector, things happen it sucks. I used to sell brand new printers and stopped because the machines never printed correctly or etc…huge profit but a pain in the ass dealing with all the returns.
@@goforbroke2 hopefully I can get ebay to allow a partial refund since the policy states my item must be returned the same way it was sent out or usps will cover it. I've had ebay close the case and refund the buyer for me.
Great video and advice you share with us. When I'm out sourcing, I come across a lot of Printer Ink. Which one's would you say sell better than other's, Thanks in advance and great channel and knowledge you share with us 👍🏻
How can you test routers to make sure they are not in use?
I love watching you Jake but I hope you were kidding about making your wife find it!
Diggers for sure and very selective as don't want to become hoarders. There are always hidden treasures in the pile.
How do you ship a tennis racket?
Good Tips as always Jake 👑
A crown from the king.. I’m honored
Yo, this guy is the truth.
Quick question when you say something went on discount after 90 days, do you go in and manually check all of your listings and then discount them or is there a way to automate that process?
how do you know if the remote controls work?
I dont know if I have the ability to hold a purse like that coach without dropping the price. Does it ever worry you that your item is overpriced, and wont sell? I find myself repricing hirer priced stuff cause I'd rather make a sale and who knows if it'll sell at the high price.
I use sold data to price items.
The boxes your glasses and remotes are in, are those card boxes?
Yes
Hey, what size box do you use for glasses?
Technsports is talking about JRide every day in the group now. i love tech but he knows jride is taking over and is new top dog. techn very jealous hate to say it he doesng look good crying about jride every day.
Question: what ratio do you use with spending money on common items that get you a small $10 profit vs buying an item at $50 to resell at $250? Basically the way I see it. If you spend $1,000 in inventory, and you’ve sold items and grossed $500. You are still down $500 but have a lot of items still. Do you have a cap on getting more inventory? Or do you have a ratio where everytime you make back $XX.XX, your going to go stock up again? I see a lot of resellers on TH-cam and they always share their $2 flips that turn into $40 or whatever, but that same trip they could’ve spent a total of $40 on a ton of stuff and the other stuff is still sitting meaning no ROI yet if that makes sense
I only care about sell through rate. If that this there I buy it
Hey man. Where did you get the boxes that you store your eyeglasses in?
@@s.kelley9403 ebay
Yo Jride, what crosslisting platform do you use?
I'm a digger for sure. So many sellers leaving gold behind.
Flyp. I have a guide on it if you want to search Jride flips Flyp
I'm a swifter at a the moment but with time and experience, I'll get to the digger status. Ha!
Digger😊
I'm a digger, just can't help myself lol.
Good! Let it! I love "new" resellers watching these what solds. It makes them go for the long tail items instead knowing how to look up comps on the spot which means more money for me as they waste their time going after stuff that takes for ever to sell while I stock my cart with the hot selling items. I say let them keep getting distracted and misinformed!
Someone somewhere just said the same thing about you
These low-key videos are always the ones with the best advice, thank you for your authenticity🫡
