I have one of these coming in the mail. My hunting friends wanted me to join an archery league, so I bought the cheapest one. I have little experience shooting and have been binge-watching archery videos before the league starts on the 6th. Wish me luck, and God bless!
This is not a beginner bow, with a few ad ons and tuning, this is a accurate, fast, smooth bow. Some of these guys bash it because it's not a Hoyt,or PSE. Overpriced. One of the best shooting bow's I own, been bow hunter for 40 years
I have the same one , this video helps a lot thank you sir and the light does work , you need to take off the little batteries and flip them upside down 👍
nice bow, looks like accessories alone would be about 150 bucks. i do believe whoever set the loop for the arrow nock height at the factory got it right. slightly high from level
@@robertweltzheimer9728 thanks for watching. I would start with a good rest , then a better set of Arrows and next a Good set of Stabilizer’s. This bow actual shoots surprisingly good and you can upgrade these things one at a time and see good improvement!
i had the same light issue on the sight , contacted them within 20 hrs they responded and sent me pictures to help , there is a little pc of plastic film blocking the batteries connection . its in the "lid" pic it out with a toothpick and Bobs your uncle light works fine 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
Thanks for watching, Sanlida sent the bow with the agreement that I would do an honest review as well as a set up video. This is Sanlidas way of marketing to the USA and trying to enter the US bow market.
This bow also uses Gordon limbs witch are made in the USA and Gordon makes alot of limbs for who else im not sure but they have been around since the 1950s
UP 60$ from October to December. Freaking greed of these guys, that's a 30% increase over 3 months! I would love to purchase this bow but, I won't support a company that is screwing with pricing that much.
Thanks for stopping by, you could be correct. Though the ones I seen for $199 did not include the release and arrows. With that said, I’m not sure they offer it now without the arrows and release , which may be a better option for some archers 👍

My kids bought me this bow for Father's day, it's my first bow. I'm excited to learn how to shoot it
Thanks for watching, That's awesome!
I just ordered one from eBay for $198 shipped. Can't wait for it to get here. Definitely looks worth every penny.

That’s great, I am impressed so far and plan to do more videos soon as well as planning to do some hunting with it

imagine if that thing made by mathews 😢😢

Thanks for watching, these bows shoot surprisingly well. My light act had a plastic spacer in it to save the batteries during shipping.
Mine is coming Wednesday! $199 on Amazon!!!
Nice! Good luck I’m sure you’ll have a blast with it.
I have one of these I would recommend this for a beginner, but I would buy a better arrow rest
clear spacer in the cap sight does work..
Thank you sir
@@archeryuniverse very welcome..

Jeremy, one thing to mention that I did not see was a left handed option unless I missed it somewhere.
Unfortunately they are only available in right hand
What would be some upgrades ud make on this bow
@@robertweltzheimer9728 thanks for watching.

mine just went off today.. left lower limb snapped.. no dry fire or tinkering done..
Thanks for watching. That is unfortunate, but they do have a warranty. Contact Sanlida through their website and I’m sure they’ll take care of you
Might be a good starter bow for Michael.
It’s certainly one of the best bargains I have found
Any idea where I can find this for Left handed?
Thanks for watching, unfortunately they are only made in right handed.
Can we switch compound bow sight to the left side? Or can we shoot on the left hand?
Thanks for watching, unfortunately the Dragon X8 is only offered in right hand.
Thanks
It says it's the dragon claw series 😭

Thanks for watching , Customer service was great, they actually contacted me within 24hrs of the video posting
Quick question way did sandlida archery send you this now for free.

@@archeryuniverse Dang that's so cool
This bow also uses Gordon limbs witch are made in the USA and Gordon makes alot of limbs for who else im not sure but they have been around since the 1950s
That is correct , Gordon Limbs or limb materials are used by most US bow companies
@@archeryuniverse IMO makes this bow a real deal, can prob put a good drop away on it make it even nicer
@@Sky-rx4ow I agree 100% I actually mentioned that in a follow up video that will be posting soon, thanks for watching

There are 2 options. One for 199 and one for 269.
Left handed people don't deserve good-value entry-level bows.
Just buy a bear
Thanks for watching, Bear makes great bows. I spent my first few years hunting as a kid shooting a Bear Grizzly recurve
@@archeryuniverse getting a resurgence
with 200$ more..nope 😂
