I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. The blues the blues, it's all about the blues! ❤ It's an important part of jazz too. Ever heard Louis Armstrong's West End Blues composed by King Oliver from the '20's? It is some of the finest, purest 12 bar blues ever performed. It was an absolute treat to see that killer collection of original blues albums from some of the greatest blues artists of all time! It is the cat's meow hands down. 😻😻😻😻😻 I still hold out hope that you will one day either reissue or record a new album (D2D?) from Tab Benoit from your home state. I know that you've tried to do it without any luck, but maybe the planets will line up before we're gone, and it will happen. Thank you very much for making this video, blues brother; it made my day. 👍👍👍👍👍

Some folks can't abide "flexing", others buy first row tickets to the Arnold classic 😉 Your collection is the Mr Olympia of the vinyl world. So flex it, flex it early flex it often. They're "muscles" that we will never have, yet love to see, and above all, hear. 😁

I’ve gone full circle and I’m massively back into the blues again I’ve been hoovering up blues albums for the last couple of years and have found some real gems. Albert King is the man I’m currently seeking out anything I can by him. Not as rare as your albums there but I just picked up a beautiful Mono copy of Shakey Vick’s 1969 album ‘Little Woman you’re so sweet’ on the Pye label - fantastic album if you see it around be sure to pick it up. If you can get in the blues groove, you will love this essential music genre. It's not quite as complex as jazz, but it's more about emotion and expressing the human condition through some great story telling. It's also fun to play on guitar; it's what I strive to play, not that I'm a really good guitar player yet.
You can flex! I would 😎🎸 Now needledrop those suckers like you did with Lightnin' and put em out with KG and BG tweekin a bit. Or heck straight up transfers and pretty jacket scans! Now THAT would be even cooler than seeing them in a video.

Jones - Paying The Cost To Be The Boss - Sweet Sixteen - Meet My Happiness GREAT TUNES - - - Bobby Bland (album) Dreamer - Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City - Lovin' On Borrowed Time - Also Single Cuts This Time I'M Gone For Good, I Pity The Fool and Turn On Your Love Light. I dont care if you are flexin...All of those albums are stone cold killer albums...Super jealous. I wish you guys would press more Blues stuff. As a somewhat new collector its hard to find good blues albums like you just showed. I wish somebody would start a re issue campaing focused on the Blues. At any rate you have great taste in Music Chad. Was really cool seeing those hard to get Albums. At least we know they still exist.
Only video from Chad I’d get excited about at this point is a video saying Acoustic Sounds is pressing some more rock albums. I’m gonna start calling them “Jazz Sounds”
You should contact Universal who owns the AVI/Excello catalog and reissue some of those albums, it's better than reissuing the same jazz records over and over again. I'll take Slim Harpo over another reissue of Getz/Gilberto anyday.
