  • The crew is back at @midamericaoutdoors for Travis Pastrana's final progression session along side Banks Hovey. As Travis awaits a full knee replacement in the coming days, he has decided to check one last item off his bucket list. Travis' goal is to back flip onto an elevated platform, do a nose bonk, then front flip out of the nose bonk back to his wheels. Banks plans to jump onto the platform, wheelie across, and backflip off. Both of these tricks have never been attempted, so come along for the ride as Nate Wessel and Hubert Rowland help Travis and Banks work through multiple ramp variations, distance measurements, platform angles, and injuries in an attempt to reach their goals.

I just got my knee replacement. Wish I could have taken this to a landing but I hope you all enjoy my final send on a trick that I’ve been wanting to try since the day I watched a video of Kai Haase blew my mind with the nose bonk front flip at Masters of dirt.

Wrote a letter to you Travis when I was in 7th grade. You wrote back and autographed a poster that I still have today. So happy to see all that you have accomplished over the years. I now get the honor of caring for folks who need knee replacements. Hopefully yours went well and a smooth and speedy recovery to you!

I honestly didn't realize I had such an emotional attachment to Travis until watching this. When he said he was just gonna go sit and reflect it really hit me. I've spent probably close to two decades watching his antics in complete awe and to get to see him call his last shot (so-to-say) just really hit me hard. Best of luck

Can't believe we're all this old... I remember when this dude rode his first X Games. I'm 42 and this dude had to earn every bit of respect he has today. Travis is the GOAT!!!

When Travis said he was 40 I cried a little. I remember when he was a kid with the wild backyard here in Maryland. Damn I'm old...

  • @MrNasty-ei1zz

One of a Kind Legend . The things you've accomplished in your career is astonishing and the amount of abuse you put your body through to do it 100% respect

  • @MrTrashWheel

Dude I cried watching this. From watching you as a kid doing the double backflip at the X Games to being able to work on set with you for the HOONIGAN Gymkhana 2020 in our hometown of Annapolis. You have always been my hero growing up and an inspiration to so many. Making us Maryland boys proud!

  • @Chapter13_jku

Travis, hands down, you are one of the greatest of all times. From the moment you own Xgames in San Francisco until today, you have defied gravity and your life and body parts. Here's to your greatness. 🎉

  • @Burritosarebetterthantacos

At 38, glad I grew up in the golden era of action sports. Damn it’s nostalgic now as we all get old AF😂. Can’t believe Nate Wessel is still building stuff

  • @brettskinner5824

40 and still hasn't changed a bit Travis you were a legend from the first time I watched you till I watched you pull off this stunt which was unbelievable just like the first double back flip. We have been truly blessed to watch your career.
