Very good looking car with a very unimpressive powertrain. VW neutered the 2.0T with this vehicle and I don't know why. This car would be AMAZING with the GTI 2.0T.
The R line is quite different from the Golf R . The Golf R came first then this R Line which may confuse people. The R line of VW doesn’t come close to the incredible power and handling of the GOLF R. Seems like VW is confusing people.
Vinny Jelnicki case in point - a friend of mine who drives a Passat R line said to me - oh you have a Golf R - I just love the R line assuming they have similar features. Not confusing to me but VW may be purposefully deceiving. those who don’t feel a need to look deeper. I wouldn’t call them simpletons- just your average consumer,
Dude really . Audi S line . Peugeot Sline. AMG line . R Line. VW not trying to deceive anyone . It's the same Trims, interiors, tech ect but without the high powered engine

I've driven a 2018 VW Tiguan as a loan car from a VW dealer & it drives and handles like a passenger car instead of an SUV.
They just make them even if they fake it, but what a good looking car, i wish we had one!
I have one, daily commute and family duty it's superb. Lotus for the weekend though.

If spending that amount of money on a car and you haven’t read upon it, you are careless. You don’t need a degree to work out the differences
