yoga synergy inspired strength and atabilty

  • I dont usually practice publicly.
    But here's this mornings asana work.
    In todays practice I decided to play with several varieties of leg balance. All of which are part of the five yoga synergy elements sequences that i have been using for years.Then I went for the inversions to empty the legs. And then I felt like opening up the spine to backbends at the end, so I explored that. Those are coming back "online"now after a long layoff due to a shoulder issue that developed from a hard wipeout in the surf.
    It's always a balancing of forces that unify the body. I don't fight against stiffness or yield to weaknesses in Asana. I observe both with contentment and care and then invite them to transform. I usually kind of just keep moving the energy around and around playing with gravity until I reach the still point in the center. Like a pendulum, it's looking for the center, that's us looking for the real self.
