🫡 Salute to the Captain! Love seeing Salvy and Hoz back together and hearing their stories. Salvy a KC Living Legend. Next, we need Moose, Gordo and LoCain! Lets keep Diggjn Deep rolling. Love this Hoz.
This Salvy episode was special! Your view, comments, shares, and subscribes will keep us going, thank you for the support! We have the Moose episode dropping up in a few weeks!
Man, I love Salvy. He's been everything to my kids that George Brett was to me growing up. It's awesome to see, and he truly loves this city which makes me smile! H'e a true captain and leader and rock for this young group that is coming into their own and I'm here to see it!
KC Loves you Salvy! Any respectable citizen would know how much you mean to us. Thanks for always having a smile on your face, thanks for all the home runs this year sir.
Sal spans so many eras of Royals baseball. The early years of Dayton Moore's "The Process", the mid-2010s mini dynasty, the Dayton Moore downfall and a new winning era with Bobby Witt Jr., he literally transcends the franchise.
As a lifetime royals fan, this was the greatest podcast episode ever. Thank you Eric and the crew for setting this amazing interview up with Salvy. Love you all! 👑 LETS GO ROYALS!!!! 👏👏-👏👏👏
These guys made watching baseball so much fun, their team chemistry was so infectious. Evidenced by the Championship parade, I came in from Denver for that and it was one of my most favorite days ever. The Chiefs parades have been amazing, but that 2015 Royals parade was INCREDIBLE. 30-years of pent up celebrations came screaming out. 💙💙💙 #RaisedRoyal
What a great conversation on framing pitches and that little bit about the automated strikezone was 100% correct. Go Royals! The team is having a season as good as this podcast, and so fun to watch!!
Let's go KC I'm so happy Salvy has been playing this well. Sad to part ways with Witt bands, Michael A Taylor, Eddie olives and especially Grienke. We've got a beautiful trade deadline coming thnx to you Captain ❤ forever Royal 💙
I have a youth center in urban KC and I 100% agree about both sides wanting to understand each other. We have so many Congolese and there is a language barrier but both side work to understand each other. It is good to hear that a baseball team that is a mix of many cultures has the same challenges and mindset. It is a struggle but this gives me a lot of encouragement.
This video is a dream come true - hanging with these Royals legends, hearing them talk about the game then, now, and the future. Thank you Hoz! I always wanted you to be mic'd up at first base - seemed like you were always hosting your own talk show with the guy on base, and I wanted to know what you were smiling, laughing, and talking about. I'm locked in to these podcasts!
Sal’s English is impressive! His accent is a little thick, but man learning a second language is TOUGH! Took 3 semesters of Spanish in college and don’t speak a word more of Spanish than when I started. Major respect 🫡
He's Venezuelan, those accents are NOTORIOUS for just not going away, it's up there with Russian. You can live somewhere else for 30 years and never have that accent go away
@@ajsmodernandretrogames8523 That would explain how Mariano Rivera speaks English and sounds a lot closer to sounding like he was born and raised in the States….
Love everything that this podcast is doing. The love for baseball is palpable. The personalities make this all the better. Thank you guys for bringing us this amazing content.
Personally I think he should get the key to the city however if that ever happens unfortunately we know who it’ll probably go to however still not a bad choice PM15
Great video, guys! I hope you guys get a chance to interview Alex Gordon at some point. I followed his whole career from the time he was in high school, Legion ball, college and the pro level.
Salvy should ABSOLUTELY be a HOF'er! He's been continually disrespected and all of it has been because of his place on the Royals. If he was a Yankee or a Dodger with the exact same stats, people would be calling him one of the best ever, and he'd be a first ballot HOF'er. It's so sickening.

He's the captain for so many reasons, we're blessed to have Perez

So much respect for Salvy on and off the field. He's truly a legend!
Go listen to the interview with him after the wild card game. You can understand him so much more 10 years later. He's done a tremendous job

I hope The Royals offer Salvy some sort of job after retirement. He means a lot to the city.

We used to scream "Jesus Hosmer Christ" and "Daddy Salvy" From 2013-2015
Actually got me detained.lol😅

11:13 reference to kinsler 😴
Naw we want to see the roots bring Fitz-Gerald on
Thank you Hoz, framing is not a skill.
