I found talkin baseball on Apple Podcasts very close to the beginning. I was looking for fantasy baseball insight. What I found was so much more special. Been a diehard Jomboy faithful ever since. Your trajectory has been fulfilling from a fan standpoint; I’m happy you guys are finding your well deserved success.
I found them thru the original talkin baseball live streams in the playoffs. They were so much more invested and entertaining than the TV networks. And still are
Man it's been awesome to see them grow over the years. Go work fellas! They hit the nail on the head with social media. I use to go to the website to watch Phillies highlights but life got to busy. So I'd just check the scores. Now I can easily see any win and their highlights on the Phillies channel or go to the main MLB. It's fantastic especially if I can't catch the game on the radio.
Die hard Mets fan: i used to always see Jomboy videos and around the last WBC i ended up following them and they (along with Jolly and Shea Station) have helped reinvigorate my love for baseball. They have such great analysis and perspective, and they seem like such great people. Love em
These two and Shohei Ohtani got me back into baseball like I haven’t been since I was a little kid. Jimmy and Jake, Jolly and co., and the We Got Ice guys! I’m a big fan of all of it.
This is so good! I recently started really getting into jomboy earlier this year (would watch it occasionally but now almost everyday I watch them) congrats!
Awesome work that this two guys have done! you learn from it and you just see what you don’t watch from a actual game in tv. Such an inspiration the hard work that they have put in their dreams!
Fun watching this episode because Eric Hosmer and the Omaha Royals/ Stormchasers is what got me into the game of baseball being from Nebraska. And then Talkin Yanks and Jomboy Media reinvigorated my love for the game now that I’m in my 20s
I would credit Jomboy Media and Foolish Baseball with getting me back into baseball. Like Jake mentioned I stopped following MLB when I was in my early twenties then I started watching Breakdowns and Baseball Bits. I don't watch a lot of TV or have subscriptions to streaming apps so I rely on Instagram and TH-cam to follow now. Also, Guts and Super Seducer are my favorite Jomboy video series.

And that is as an orioles fan who grew up with bad seasons, and finally had something fun to follow. This season I had opportunities to get back into it, and in combo with various jomboy stuff I feel more into it than I ever did.

Glad to hear that Jess is doing well, Jake! I pray over you and your bride that healing and peace come over you-that God blesses you and that he pours his favor upon y’all!

Jomboy makes the best baseball video analysis out there. Also, adding to the argument of "get the kids hooked on baseball soon", I'd say that there are a lot of people outside the US wanting to love baseball, but NO ONE teach us anything. Baseball is not like the NFL, you kind of also need to know the stats, the intricacies of smallball etc...to reaaaally engage with the sport. US media has to teach foreigners how to watch and enjoy baseball.
