Even though you had the bad luck of popping the track off glad to see you get it back on with out much problems,we keep an eye out on the track tension hoping not to pop one off . Have herd that it happens in the most awkward positions and times . As I age some of these tasks can be challenging when I was younger it would have bin no problem 😂😂😂😎😎😎

Just got finished spending hours trying to get one on a bobcat T650, was working on a slope with a heavy bucket full of rocks. Pain in the butt, needed two people. Basically jacked and blocked the front and back on the side where the track came off. We released tension in the grease piston. Got the rzr with a winch to pull on the tread to release all the grease. Pulled on the front towards back, then pulled on the back. Once front idler was back on with some big pry bar/digging bars. we lowered the machine on the tread . Now we worked on getting the back drive sprocket on. Two 6ton racks lifting up on the tread, both side of the drive sprocket with some 4x4 in for added lift. Once the tread was high enough and the metal tread stabilizers kinda aligned with the gears, we hit the tread with a sledge hammer to have it slide on. Makes changing a wheel easy. Problem with wheeled machines: Not enough pushing power. Will sink in the sand. Tires always flatt. Thinking about welding up some sort of hydraulic powered jacks to slide under the machine and use machine hydrualics to lift entire machine off the ground.

I've had to get the tracks back on both a T190 and T550. Usually it is from side loading. Then it pushes the track off of the idlers to the inside. A booger to get back on.

use 3 or 4 oak or steel sticks about 1.25 inch sq. about a foot long and put in track before the front ider and reverse the track and the grease will come right out.

Or put a strap around the track and the arm on that side and gently lift. That will compress the idler and send the grease out.

I must say you made that look a lot easier than it really is. I've spent hours fixing our Takeuchi tracks over the years and it never happens in a good spot.
How do you like the attachment you use on your grease gun that attaches to the grease zurk? I haven't found a good one that doesn't leak.
