Andrew, I have a tip for you, if someone else has not mentioned it. When you want to collapes your track adjuster, put a 2"-3" diameter log or piece of heavy wall pipe between the track and the drive sprocket. Slowly move the machine so the spacer collapes the adjuster. This is a trick I used working on Cats and excavators before breaking down, or removing a track.
    Good luck.

@@sorin990 That's honestly catastrophically dangerous and after seeing about six bobcats now where some giant steel part is cracked like glass, i'd never buy one, id never rent one and i'm suspicious as f operating anyone elses ; nobody expects the g** d*** machine's entire arm assembly to snap in half and that could and probably already has gotten people killed & seriously injured.... and remember that's not the first bobcat he's had with ginormous steel sections split down the middle either, his other one had cracks in the lifting arm.
I've never seen another brand where machine after machine has thick steel parts split in half like that, that's horrendous quality metal not good enough for a set of soup spoons let alone a effin construction machine trying to lift thousands of pounds of weight.

Thanks Andrew I loved it! Those tracks are difficult to replace when in a confined space like a narrow drift (tunnel) underground in a mine, as myself and a mine mechanic had to do on a few occasions years ago at the Dome Gold mine. We had to use 4' scaling bars to basically force the track onto the Kubota KH41 mini excavator, like I said 'no' room to work, it took us about an hour to change one track, lots of swearing lol. The Kubota was used to dig drainage ditches and clean-up in between the rails as this was a 'track mine', it sure beat playing the banjo, hand shovelling lol.

I think bobcat is reliable for personal or home usage. Always, there's something to do with house, tree to cut, ground to dig, things to move. He looked so cool like you even he was not a professional worker. (with same loader) Maybe, I would buy bobcat t300 loader. I've cut and moved one tree with shovel for 3~4 hours and... Are you kidding me? The abuse that he has with his machines.I would make a bet that other manufacturers would never stand up to the abuse that Andy throws at it.Simple neglect is his largest issue.Pins coming out of buckets, broken teeth, overheating on excavators.I enjoy the videos but facts are facts.More force is not always the best answer.Look at the first few minutes with him repairing the fender flare. Does he care? Apparently not.I would like to see a caterpillar stand up as well as this Bobcat. As mentioned I like the videos, especially Levi.

Honestly, the Japanese made heavy equipment are far better than any bobcat or caterpillar. Yanmar, Kubota, Takeuchi, IHI actually have machines that are built to be reliable and tough, unlike the delicate snowflake American stuff. They actually put time into engineering things that work in harmony instead of slapping pieces together and putting them out there. No wonder the Japanese stuff hold there value a lot more than the bobcat or cat

Poor Levi, is like, Dad, did you HAVE to bring the young kid along to?? also Great to see that you are always willing to teach others things you know, so they can learn like you have. Awesome! An old friend of mine used to say 'He who dies with the most toys wins', and I rather think that Andrew is an odds on favourite to take that prize. It's not just skid steer buckets. He has bought every tool known to man while putting the new roof on the castle, and lets not forget that he has ordered the top of the range Tesla Truck. He left Chris Guins (Letsdig18) for dead right there with that purchase, and it came right after Chris had bout and was showing off his new Ford 150 (I think that's what Chris has - I am in New Zealand and don't know a whole lot about American trucks).
