Being blue collar in AZ, there’s a decent amount of guys in the small company I work for that rock ‘cowboy’ attire. Probably half the guys wear cowboy boots, safety or not, myself included. Although, I do switch between cowboys boots, red wing mocs, and redbacks I should note that I meant ‘western wear’
Really cool to add that clip at the end Carl. Huge respect, hopefully you’re good that looked like it sucked. Us electricians can be oblivious to our surroundings while in our zone doing whatever it is😂 Hope you’re feeling okay and keep the great content coming brother! Love waking up to some coffee with Carl🙏🏼🙌🏼💪🏼
I was going to say that Sons of Anarchy had a similar arc into convoluted plots after Opie died. Also, it is too bad Filson doesn't do the Moleskin lining inside the pockets and on the collar anymore. They have definitely cheaped out on the niceties on the short waxed Cruiser lately.
SOA had some good episodes. Tyler Sheridan (creator of Yellowstone) started on that show. The problem with bingeing SOA was that it wasn’t made for straight up bingeing because every episode starts with a basic recap of the last episode not one you can skip because it is built into the episode.
Kayces jacket color is tumbleweed color. Lightest tan with some great patina. Rust color has a little bit of darker red undertones. Your next video should be the sunglasses of Yellowstone ! They use Oliver Peoples ! Great video Carl !! Love watching them brother !!
Dude, that had to hurt and hope you are ok. Thanks for another great coffee. I would definitely recommend Yellowstone 1883. That was the best show on TV that year. Sam Elliot was asked to do Yellowstone but didn’t want to do it because he thought it was too much like Dallas. Sam Elliot was outstanding in 1883. Overall a great show worth watching.
Another awesome video! They definitely have some good clothing on Yellowstone glad you were able to cover them! You got to love those extension ladders eh?!?
Man I think I have whiplash from seeing you fall! It looks like you took the bump well but there’s no doubt you’d be feeling that, hope you’re doing okay. It makes sense that companies would lean into the Yellowstone connection, as loose as it may be in some cases, it’s just an easy marketing strategy. My dad has always been a vest wearer but the Sugar Cane vest actually has me interested in a vest for the first time.
I can make a 100 % claim that none of the Ariat models have ever been on a horse or a farm.....They look too pretty. And, the range of sizes makes it something I won't buy. I did enjoy this video as always.
Yeah, I dont know about that brand... They're crazy expensive and NOBODY seems to own anything from them. From what I understand its just one guy with $$$ having neat stuff made for his brand.
Good morning I like Ariat but not a fan of clothing that's "from movies" and definitely don't like "shirt-jackets". It seems like a marketing trick to sell a shirt for more money and the combination doesn't make any sense. Side note I prefer a oilskin duster for a riding / working coat. They split and "tie around" the legs, are a tough working coat and roll up great when not wearing. Also give you something to sit on at night when / if camping out. Thanks for the video!! Cheers beers and whiskey 🤠 🥃
Yellowstone's first season was good, the second was OK, the beginning of the third to me was awesome. However, it's devolution from plot to just violence became mundane and outlandish to me. I do love the wardrobe and whomever is in charge of it and the scene design/art director should win Emmys. Ariat has come out with some decent workwear lately and I'm impressed. Their boots are decent , but definitely leans on the modern technique rather than more traditional heavy construction. The only cowboy boots I could wear without horrible foot pain were Ariat's.
7 oz cotton is neigh very thick. I don't like snip and square toes Western boot, which is seemingly ALL of them for past several years in Boot Barn, etc. Ariat is usually synthetic lowers and then is that just pieced pig leather shaft or something? Would need t' know more details there. Some shirt-jacks better than others by far. Wrangler: Fit can be hit or miss, mostly miss if you're not super skinny?
Schaeffer more expensy than some them other brands? Hopefully more quality but still didn't get the "authentic" style vest if I think o' correct catalogue.
Gonna leave this here. I've always had trouble with rib knit cuffs on my jackets and sweatshirts irritating my arm hair on my wrist especially when they are layered over each other when its really cold. I've yet to find a solution to this other then sticking to outerwear that doesn't have rib knit cuffs which seems to be rare. Anybody got any solutions to this? Does anybody else even have this issue?
I definitely have this problem!! Especially the old school rib knit cuffs that are really tight. I've found that most of the more expensive brands use cuffs that arent too tight and thus dont cause the arm hair problem. With my Dehen sweater I usually wear a long sleeve beneath it and simply pull the cuffs down beneath it.
Kinda glad Yellowstone is ending. The show Junped the Shark'd IMHO when Kevin becomes Govenor. Landman with Billy Bob Thorton and Jon Hamm looks promising. Time will tell. That fifth pocket or Pocketwatch pocket is where the Zippo lives most of the time. 😊.

Thanks man! It wasnt all that bad, but I definitely had a little bit of whiplash the next day.
You look sophisticated af with them glasses.
Hahaha, got you fooled! I'm a dolt!
I've got a Schaefer Outfitter's waxed vest, and I really like it. It's unlined but has a good waxy feel to it.
I love the iron snail. Testing to grab a pair of his jeans when they come back.
The spin offs are extremely great!
Keep this format, really enjoying the occasional music, gear and TV show plugs here and there!
Thanks, will do!
Yellowstone-1883 is beautiful. It stands alone and is amazing.
I'll have to check it out!
Ariat makes nice entry-level boots. I've had good luck with them.
I was going to say that Sons of Anarchy had a similar arc into convoluted plots after Opie died.

Thanks for that!
I'd skip the imported flannel jack shirt for $120 for the Brave Star quilt lined wool flannel for $168.
getting Filson ads before watching Coffee w Carl 😂
They're oblivious.....
Good morning!
Morning!

They come outta nowhere!!!
@@CoffeeWithCarl1 the struggle is real! lol
That Schaeffer looks great
👍 that was a good one, worker id for that watch pocket
Excited about the Thursday boot your boot collaborations add a lot of value to the boot market. I’m saving up to get the nicks tanker.
...and that's why I loved the MA1 jacket.
NO COLLAR!
I think I’m lucky that I didn’t know about Filson before they started jacking up price and reducing quality. It doesn’t hurt as much
Yellowstone is a great show, sadly it’s ending, I think this last half season will be good. Thanks for the info on the clothing!
Thanks for watching!
How about that sheepskin jacket in the movie Silverado! Talk about being its own character...

The knock still didnt make me like loafers, so I think I'm okay.

I agree, they really look out of place.
What frames are those, Carl? They look good!
Thank you! They're the Jefferson by Salt Optics
At lot of people don’t believe that Cole Hauser is a Jewish Guy from LA( his family has been the industry forever)
Was hoping for some Black Bear Brand talk. They have some really nice stuff. Expensive but nice.
Yeah, I dont know about that brand... They're crazy expensive and NOBODY seems to own anything from them. From what I understand its just one guy with $$$ having neat stuff made for his brand.
You really have me thinking about that dehen shawl!
I cant say enough about it. This thing is amazing.
@CoffeeWithCarl1 it looks it! I just dont know if I can pull off that look lol
Good morning

Thank you for that great take! I never considered that about a duster.
have a ton of old scheafer ranchwear gear. all made in the usa. they have completely sold out nearly everything is imported. very sad

For the next workhorse heavy, have you thought of a nice burgundy? Holiday inspired!!
I love that idea, but we have this years color combo picked out already.
@ can’t wait to see!! December?
Don’t know if it gets mentioned anywhere here. The brand “dri duck” has a “Yellowstone” jacket as well
Oh do they? I love Dri Duck, my logo hats you can buy are Dri Duck.
The last clip really looks painful

So, Filson DIDN'T Jump the Shark yet? I guess if ye selective enough?
The eternal question: how many collars is too many collars?
42 is the cut off
Hahahaha

Great job on the video and ouch
Thank you! That did smart a little, but more the next day!
adventurous style but no loafers huh
Loafers suck.
LOST is the best example of a show that went on WAY TOO LONG. It became so stupid after season 3, and lasted through 6. Ridiculous.
Hey buddy.
Hey hey!
Michael from the Iron Snail was the reason I checked out this channel! You guys are both great
Hes a good dude!
Ladderstepping. Rakestepping is for amateurs
Sideshow Bob has entered the chat.
I noticed some of the bunkhouse hands that had to pack to go down to the 6666 ranch in texas had $600 filson duffel bags LOL!
