**Update** Helvault has re-released itself (?) and requiring you pay again for old features you paid for in the discontinued "Legacy" app. While this is unfortunate, the developer is also being very weird about complaints in his discord so I can't recommend Helvault at this time. I'll be looking at all the potential card scanners on IOS and potentially making a video with my findings. Additionally, direct link to the storage cubes have been added to the description.
I enjoy going through my binders when i am building a deck, looking for ideas or just relaxing with the amazing art. I have one binder per colour, commanders, artifacts, multicolour and lands (9 in total). I sort them according to type (creatures, spells and permanents) and within the types according to mana cost. This has allowed my to quickly collect cards from my collection after i have built a deck in moxfield and it also allow me to easily find "correct" location for new cards. But you are right, i have a lot of cards in my binders that i will most likely never play. Old overcosted creatures and similar things. Thanks forthe video!
This is a type of video I would like to redo every year or so because my own sentiments change so much. Like right now I'm thinking about how to incorporate something I'm referring to a as an "Inspiration" binder, where you can kind of put cards that you just want to ruminate on.
@@AbsoluteCardboard Yes that is a great idea, storing special cards at a visible location. That could of course be done at moxfield too, having a deck/pile with just fun card you want to build decks around.
Commons and uncommons in boxes sorted by color. Common and uncommon staples in sleeves. Rares and mythics under 2$ sorted by color stored in binders. Rares and mythics over 2$ sleeve/top loader sorted by color. I additionally separated Dino’s, Dragons, Eldrazi, slivers, and hydras out from the rest of the collection.
I sort mine by color, creature, instant, sorcery, enchantments, mono colored first then multi colored, basic lands, artifacts, mana rocks, equipments, ect.
Those card cubes are absolutely gorgeous, I might have to pick that up. Do you have an affiliate link there? If nothing else, I'll say that Element Hobbies sent me.
No affiliate or anything, he is really just a good friend of mine. Feel free to say you came from my video, make I can get him to make more MTG stuff that I can make videos on =)
I do color by big box, then in each box i do by set since and mana cost of said cards in the set, "staple" cards are toward the end of the box together
