This was a great multiplayer game. It was alright in single player mode too but playing against a human opponent was a lot of fun. My whole family used to play this and they didn't even play video games.
One thing I always found with fighting as/against Afro is that whenever he gets knocked down, it always took him an extra second to get up so he could do that dance step. I've had it before where he's been counted out when he was up but hadn't yet done the dance step.

Since celebrities like Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jackson were characters on the game why can't Laila Ali, Jacqueline Frazier, Chun Li(from street fighter), Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao, Shane Moseley, Roy Jones Jr., and other celebrities be characters in the remake? Having a create a character feature as well probably wouldn't be a bad idea. Anyone else agree?
