It would take a crazy person to purchase these shoes. There are very few people who buy shoes this expensive let alone with rebuilt status. If you have that much money you would just purchase a mint pair that hasn't been pieced back together. Also the diesel fella story adds no extra value. I'd say someone would give you a legit offer of 3gs and they will just sit in a showcase in a store. These wouldn't go into someones private collection.

Wait, if you rebuild the shoe yourself completely is it still authentic?
The shoes will no longer be authentic because they were altered…even if it means fixing the original shoe it’s not the original quality or electronics, also cutting the tags off takes away the authenticity right away and or even wearing any expensive shoe can say they are no longer authentic. The Nike Mags in this video would have to go through another authentication process because of unoriginal replacements. :)
