@@notbrewstew5308 the mags for the Thompson were cheaply produced and usually had feeding problems so hitting it on your helmet or the gun would realign the bullets in the stack so they fed correctly
@@mrsmithplays5444 nothing to do with realigning bullets its to knock any dirt loose stuck in the mag.. They did it in Vietnam with M16 mags and still do it today
I think that the animations for the hands and recoil is actually really great, firing effects are satisfying too, but what makes some weapons come off as janky are the arms that feel quite stiff and look like they just pop up anywhere without muscles. (Edit, the hands are absolutely amazing, fingers move realistically and grab parts on the weapon instead of recycling animations)
I think the movement is good and arm movement is fine too its just that this guy is running high fov. On the other hand if there would be a little camera shake to really emphasize the harsh movement while reloading, like cod mw does on its weapons. And if sounds would be improved too. Otherwise the animations are really good
@@qasai3840 yeah, I wrote this quite early on and noticed some jank in some of the animations and pointed to the arms as the problem as I was quite impressed w the hands and fingers to say the least
When the FOV exceeds the animators FOV lol 😂 something funky going on with your elbow when reloading those guns in I think were seeing more then we should
@@σεα-ψ9ε it’s clearly not lol watch the left arm when he reloads some of the guns it goes all funky on some guns. Plus it’s a known issue for excessive FOV to break animations, it’s because when the animator animates them he does it at a certain FOV and doesn’t account for the rest of the arm although you should if you know you games going to feature high FOV. 0:03 does that look normal to you? Lol 😂
Wait,i thought the game was depicted with different eras like ww2-nam-and modern conflict? So it's not that big of a deal if you playing as a ww2 soldier with mp40 and no trigger discipline. Unless your character is a modern soldier
