I like the look of the bike and sram motor, the plastic is a good idea for the top tube but the flaird front is definitely a fern and bramble trap ,well I ride .
Nice bike and the protective fairing is a nice touch to protect your investment ! Works Performance is a reputable suspension company , it will be interesting to see how they do .
Looks like you guys already did take a lot of the styling from Moto-cross I got to test one at Bentonville Bike Fest The looks you get... like driving a Ferrari. Everyone digging it.
Steve so good to chat with you today at Roc d’Azur. Saw the bikes you were riding up the Roc as we toured the stands. So good that Tina and I can still want better e-bikes as we both close in on 70.
If you had to choose between gasgas ecc 5 and husqvarna mc 5 what would you choose? I intend to buy one of them but I am in doubt...please help me to make a right decision
As someone who has ridden KTM's since, well, the very late 70's. Ive been along as WP tried to get better, and better. WP isnt what you would call "the best" on modern dirtbikes, but it can be really good. The cone valve has been the expensive upscale addition to an already very expensive new KTM. Good to see it being used on EMTB's. My last new 300 KTM was the no link trailbike version, and it was plush and perfect for what I do right outta the box, in 2014. Its interesting to see the nods to dirtbiking on these EMTB's. The Roczen tribute Canyon is cool. Ken is German, Canyon is German, Ken hauls ass. Some bicyclists have no idea about dirtbiking.
First question I have is BB. For 27" needs to be axel height and on a 29" you can have like 10mm drop. Pretty basic suspension so wouldn't expect it to be that supportive against pedal strikes. Okay 31.5mm drop. Definitely way too much for anyone looking to pedal trails and not just shuttle.
Pedal strikes, can be deadly. I will try shorter crank arms on my Canyon probably. Yeah a bike handles better when the rider is lower due to lower BB. But reality can be a shocker.
I like the bike. Good seeing you can remove the plastic bits, I do think that maybe they could of put slightly better forks on the range, they look like a 32mm stanchion on the video, I think minimum should be 35mm on any ebike, to mitigate flex.
Interesting, in the states WP have lost some luster, as they haven’t been doing well on any of the bikes in supercross, outdoors or super motocross and lots of complaints by the riders. I don’t pay nearly as much attention to the MotoGP series, maybe that’s different. But not many people “bragging” about WP suspension here in the past few years. The “body work” is an interesting concept, not sure how the bike world will accept having added weight, even if it is minimal.
Sexton is on the KTM now for MX/SX. WP and KTM are either going to step it up and make it happen, or not. Having Webb on the bike wasnt good for the company, hes become a bit of a whiner. He gets a holeshot, drops his elbows and heads for 7th or 8th. So he rides his bitchin new Yamaha, and does the same thing. WP has gone some funny directions with their enduro suspension, the air forks, etc. Maybe the newest stuff is better. I like this Gas Gas but my Canyon is still new, and it will get ridden for some years while the EMTB business settles down.
KTM outsells all European brands, and is the only bike nearly able to hang with a Ducati in Moto-Gp. When I go trailriding around here, the oddity will be the bike that isnt a KTM. Then there's my 890R, the 100HP dirt/street bike with 10" travel. Its not just hype.
😂 if you want motorcycle style side shrouds, it's cheaper to buy a new GasGas 2st enduro/MX bike. (Which sadly shows how over priced ebikes are) 😭 Nice looking bike though 😎👍
Funny no? How a 46HP 2 stroke with all the bells and whistles and the very latest trail tech, is about the same price as an over stylized bicycle with an electric motor. They make auto shifting sound necessary, its not.
The last time I wet out to a really good mt biking trail system, maybe 2% were Amish bikes. Like it or not its happening. Amish bikes are stuck looking for a shuttle.
The only thing holding me back is the S Mag motor, I'm not convinced the belt is fit for purpose @ 90nm. That said, if you consider the Brose motor roadmap i.e. their development of the Brose Drive 3 system (releases 2024) which ditches the belt and provides 410% assistance plus 814w battery. That's the game changer for me. So I'm holding back until SRAM adopts the new Brose Drive3 system as their new powertrain.
@@asifitmatters1 The real question is, whats your point?....its a big old world, and marketing must say some dirtbikers are buying EMTB's. Its not all about you.
@@bradsanders6954 what the hell is YOUR point? My take on this is all about me, just as your take is all about you. That’s how opinions are formed. Riding a dirt bike doesn’t in any way justify the presence of that silly plastic shroud. Or are you suggesting that those who ride dirt bikes are so stupid that they are “fooled” into thinking that they are actually riding a motorbike rather than an e-bike?
What do you think of the GasGas ECC? Do you think we should be taking more styling inspiration from motocross? Let us know your thoughts! 👇

Really dig these bikes, a bit surprised that its not MX (mullet) compatible considering its GAS GAS after all.

Finally, proper geo. Long chainstays reasonable reach. And a high stack. This will be my next bike.

Nice to see such a different bike. None of the usual parts.
Would love to see a XXL or a longer reach with that XL size. Size specific Chainstays is good though, helps when you are tall!
Nice to see something different out there... yeah, it's another 4-bar bike but WP suspension and those plastics i'm into!
Nice looking bike apart from those sticky out flash gordon bits near the head tube, they would have to go, possibly snag them on something.
But, they protect your frame.. MX bikes have had radiator shrouds for decades.
@@bfranco1519 but mud and stones will just accumulate behind them…
@@bfranco1519 As have trailbikes, the shrouds survive just fine.....people love to whine online more than they like to breathe.

would you say that front shock is comfy or really stiff?
Please tell me I can put 2.6 tires on it. Very important. Just bought mine, but only has 2.4s
I laughed when mudguard was smashed @5:20
Still working with that belt system or has that changed?
At 9k I’m all set, I just spent 4600 on talaria sting mx4 lll
Much better than a mtb e-bike
@@Myaimskindagood I plan on getting one anyways too so I can pedal and hit trails easier since talaria weighs over 145 etc
Would have really liked it if they had made it an MX/Mullet.
According to the GasGas web site, both Enduro and All Mountain bikes are mullets.

How heavy is it
I asked the same question??
Probably 50, with that size of battery.
I have a GasGas Trail 3.0 / I guess a 2023 ? 53.5 lbs
How does that Brose SRAM motor compare to Bosch?

Is it’s just me or does that motor look massive vs. Bosch Shimano

38 mm fork, is what the higher end Gas Gas has. It was shown and stated in the video.
Spanish bomb ❤
What does it weigh?
Dose it have a throttle
ehh... chainstay like in a bus ....
how does the motor compares to Spesh? is it exactly the same? any differences with software ?
A bus, doesnt have a chain , it doesnt have chainstays.

Weight?
Well well what do we see, auto shift actually keeps your front wheel on the ground, no fancy wheelies trying to impress.
All that info a niw weight??

So your dragging the top of your bicycle in the mud? How does that work?
I shudder to think about the prices.
Is 10K US really all that much? (just kidding)
killer bike with some well thought out design features, then they go and put a 75deg STA.. sigh.

Solo 600w te bateria uff no es full power ni de las lijeras.para mi una ebike tiene que tener 750 minimo.estetica mui chila
Shame the chain stays are so long
You can’t have short stays on e- mtbs, they loop out when climbing

The design is idiotic, it offers no solutions to well known problems and brings new problems to the table, like that totally absurd plastic shroud.
