Certainly eye catching with red colourway and coil shocks which I think were black so maybe ecc4? So how would you rate the ECC6 compared to more affordable alloy options such as Polygon Collosus N8E/ Marin Alpine Trail E or Reign E+ and which would you be more willing to fork over your hard earned for?
They make dirtbikes. Like really light ones that people do trials type stuff on. This is a new space for them, but you're definitely right. They should've built a new brand for them.
This is why I chose the mxc 6 for the mullet etc up although I have the choice of manual or auto shift at the push of a button I'm not sure about the cableless gear change its not let me down yet but I'm concerned if the battery on the derailleur runs out then I think I would be stuck in one gear
@KurtGencheff-i7t not sure can't find the info was thinking if the derailleur battery is just there to enable the derailleur to pair with the main battery then it seems a bit unnecessary unless the derailleur battery allows for gear change if the main battery runs out ??
Yep - $15,699 AUD for the top-end model! Believe it or not, it's actually quite competitive given the spec. The Transition Repeater PT uses the same SRAM Powertrain, X0 Transmission and has a full carbon frame, but it retails for $21K. Even the Specialized Levo Expert sells for nearly a grand more at $16,500 despite coming with a GX AXS Transmission and missing out on the wireless Reverb AXS. Personally I think the GasGas ECC 4 is the pick of the range at $11,899 AUD. It uses the same carbon frame and SRAM Powertrain, but specs a perfectly fine GX mechanical drivetrain and a RockShox Zeb fork and Super Deluxe Coil shock. [Wil]
We get that a lot! Even though we always stipulate in our bike reviews that the pricing is in Australian dollars, we still have a load of US viewers who think it's in USD 😂 [Wil]
Solid review. Bike is way too $$$. Also, have you considered a “Flow Mountain eBike” TH-cam channel? Might be nice to split off content like this where some viewers might not be interested in electric bikes.
@@joehoeper4648 I’m not really interested in e-bikes and I’ve never ridden one. I don’t have a problem with them, I just thought it would be nice to have analog and electric channels split. Just a suggestion.
I like the radiator shrouds to force air into the system keeping the water cooled motor cool.🙃
