The Stowaway is the seventh, and last, Elusive Target Mission in HITMAN™ 2, and the thirty-third overall, and tasks you with eliminating Jimmy Chen and retrieving his Dictaphone.
Jimmy Chen (also known as "The Stowaway") was an Elusive Target in HITMAN™ 2. He appeared in Isle of Sgàil.
Jimmy carries a Voice Recorder that he uses to come up with titles for his articles. His voice recorder/dictaphone must be stolen under the terms of the mission.
Jimmy Chen is one of two elusive targets who will change their disguise. Jimmy will only change his disguise if he's caught being suspicious.
To complete this strat, or at least isolate the target in the room under the architects lounge (along the stairwell), you need to sneak in through the window of the balcony (where the custodian is monitoring the alarm system of the aztec necklace).
Either knockout or throw an item past the custodian. Once he's gone tranq Jimmy, vault down and steal the dictaphone.
Once you knockout Jimmy Chen, pick up his voice recorder without being spotted by the guards, and vault back up and out the window. Climb up the pipe to the hyperborea floor. Once in the closet room, tranq the guard standing under the cctv, making sure you don't get spotted by it. Another guard will be alerted to the guard you just knocked out (as he will be spotted by the camera). At this point, I do not suggest shooting or destroying the camera, as you might get spotted by the one architect member monitoring the laptop. Pick up his gun, and shoot open the door in the security room.
Make your way to the raider room, vault the window, scale the building, and make your way down the pipe along the terrace. This will lead you into the storage room where Jimmy will come to change his disguise (so make sure you bring a lockpick with you).
At this point you can kill him silently or as I did it.
RFID method :
After placing the RFID explosive in the bin, make sure to place the coin away from the bin and within Jimmy's sight. He will only notice the coin after he's changed his disguise. Once done, wait for the exfiltrate prompt along the east wall exit.
DISCLAIMER
After tranquilizing Jimmy and picking up his dictaphone, you cannot restart (only ALT +. F4). Usually if you hear the guard alerted by the unconscious body, Jimmy will go into that room mentioned above. If another ark member notices Jimmy's body, Jimmy will most likely go the washroom to change. I've experimented with this method a few times, and that's what I found to be the most consistent.
