For all the pet lovers/outdoor people.I started Dog Sitting on rover at the end of last year. Decided to go part time in my sales job and do part-time Dog Sitting. Made $20,000 this year from Dog Sitting alone. Gave me an opportunity to be home more and get to do things that I love like being outdoors and hiking. I do all of my dog sitting inside of my house but there’s also an option to housesit at the owners place. It is a 1099 form but you’re able to write off things for taxes especially if you’re dog sitting inside your place you can write off a portion of your apartment/house any supplies that you buy like dog bags or even cleaning supplies if you have to clean up any type of mess

Look up rules in your state but gettin a notary license is fairly easy and provides a great side hustle. If they come to you it’s $6 but if you go to them then you can charge up to like $40. It’s up to you. Time of day and distance driving etc. I got my notary for about $100
Each state is different. In nyc a notary can only charge $2 per signature or $25 for digital notary.
If you travel to them you can charge travel fees

Clarify on bike rebalancing: you need to pay first in order to become a bike angel. In order to become Bike Angel, you need to have a bay wheel membership: which costs 169 a year Or 29 a month. If you earn 80 points thats a free month on them. Based on your area and station availability, you earn 1,2,or5 points. Which means at minimum you make 16 trips a month. Maximum 80 trips, just to break even.

Bike Angels is only for those in the Bay Area. This was not included in the video, so hopefully it saves someone else the time I lost trying to sign up.

Love this side hustles. Hope not to frighten anyone with this tip. However, be careful with catsitting. The owner might be there which is not bad. But not good at times. If you feel at danger, try to leave the situation safely as possible. Without warning the person. That might be difficult but try your best. So, ensure that much. Heard some weird crazy stories about people using their cat as an excuse to be a little pervert towards their cat sitters. If you get my message. An example I heard or read once is that a cat sitter was asked by a couple for a threesome. I say this as with dog sitting you can at least go out with the dog. But with the cat sitting indoor. Anyway, great video.

Never take a pet sitting job where the people are home. I’ve been doing this side hustle for about 25 years in three different cities and have never come across that. It would be suspicious and your first red flag

I would also add that if you rent out your vehicle make sure you have very good insurance that will cover anyone who drives it. I would bet most companies will likely make you carry a much heftier policy in this case.

With the bike rebalancing, does one have to actually ride the bikes to their new locations? Couldn't someone just put the bike in their trunk or on a bike rack if they have one on their car and transport them that way? And that could even enable people to transport more than one bike at a time if they have the space in their vehicle.

It's extremely hard to get any of the standard insurance carriers to write a personal auto policy with the Turo exposure. I have a client who wants to insure up to 8 vehicles for this purpose and all personal insurance carries declined her, yet she can't insure on a commercial exposure because she's purchasing in her name. Do you know of any who will?

A bit weak on this one. Most of these side hustles (besides maybe Turo) are not scalable. These will eat up a bunch of time and make potentially less money/hour compared to a main job (like working a second job) and I don't think these are worth it unless you're only currently working a part time job and have more hours to spare. Need more passive income ideas. Turo is the only one on this list that really hits this criteria, but has an expensive entry point.
