Aaron did a great job with that wrap. It's always cool to watch a skilled craftsman do their thing. Wrapping the hood inserts may go well with something on the deck lid to keep it all balanced out. Thanks! I’d get the body work as close as you can get it minus paint. The wrap will show imperfections underneath so the body work needs to be pretty spot on. But yes, this would be cheaper than painting.

It’s darker than I had thought, definitely difficult picking from small samples. Overall I’m happy, it brings some character to the car and helps tie in the other grey accents I did a while back. Thanks for the comment!

This is old now so you probably already finished the car. But I was seeing the metallic grey going nice with cobalt blue on the wings with the metallic grey on the centre of the bonnet. Either that or you could go for pure white 👍🏻

Do the center in Gray you'll like it once it's done it'll look good do the other side make it complete and then do all the fenders in Black and then do the outside of the hood in black and the deck lid in black and the roof and black and black out the windows

It also needs a new headliner and that's about it other than some hippie looking sticker/magnets. About how much money am I looking at .I know it's just a guess. Oh yeah my car is 2 tone blue/gray..yeah my favorite color. Your car looks good and doesn't look gray. Any advice will be appreciated .

I think you should do the whole car. I like patina rides but dont care for the sanded paint look, just looks unfinished to me like you were gonna paint it then stopped.

Haha, the possibilities are almost endless between colors, designs, etc! I’ve got some ideas brewing in my head, we just didn’t have the time to do them all before wrapping the car. I’m going to mull this one over, was hoping the color would be lighter. Might peel it and switch it up later down the road.... that’s the beauty of the wraps!
Don’t be sorry, thanks for being honest. I’m torn actually, I thought it would be a few shades lighter. Joys of picking colors from a small sample lol I don’t think the camera did it justice. I’ll sleep on it for a bit and worse case I’ll peel it off and have him redo it in a lighter color.

Only advise I can give is use quality 3M material and take your time, don’t rush it. I tried a panel off camera and he had to redo it lol

You need to prep the areas like you would for paint. Any imperfections under the wrap will show through.

I used to e Avalon king ceramic coating. Prep is super important before you do anything, costing or wrap.

Depends on the distributor but yes between 7-10 degrees.

You should NOT have to use heat on a flat panel and if you know how to wrap, you would NOT have to use primer on a recess.

There’s no way I could have had the patience to do it! For the trim, I just used a spot of super glue to hold the trim on.
