I purchased this glass and called a glass company to come out and have it installed for me. The second they looked at the glass they told me it was the wrong glass and asked me to have their shop order the glass for me. I called and spoke to Brad and he assured me that it was correct, and after comparing the glass to the old broken one, Brad was right. Thanks for the help and the supply for the lowest priced glass available for these trucks. Recommended.
Great video. Without it, I couldn’t have fixed my motor/regulator when the cable slipped in the drum and got chewed up, due to the breaking of the plastic “carrier” on the bottom of the sliding window. Thank you Brad for taking my call today and clarifying something that wasn’t clear. You are a good man!
I got my window broken and I call many places and they want to install the three windows and when I check this video I got it!! I purchased the glass and I did it by myself and takes me only one hour and a half to have it done. The estimates was for $750 to $1200 and I got the glass very cheap with a very good quality. Thank you so much for your help!!!!!
Hi Brad, great video, thank you. My sliding window isn't broken but the heater tabs came off. Im having a heck of a time getting them put back. I bought adhesive meant for reattaching these tabs but it keeps coming off. Almost tempted to replace slide with one of yours. But I'm not sure how you modified the existing wiring to work with yours. Thank you!
Nice job... upper window guide track loose in middle ( held with 4 pieces of double sided tape, what adhesive what would advise to adhear center section .... ends are tight...... thanks 2018 f150 hearn
Did you get this fixed? I know it's been a year since you asked but I found a video that gives the type of glue and primer you need to do this correctly
Hey brad great video! I have a 2015 lariat 150 with the power slider and the top track has come lose any ideas as to why or how that would happen? or ideas as to how to fix it? thanks!
My 2010 Lariat went whacky. Been using it a lot as power grids were bad. Still debating on what n how I’m gonna fix this At least I have it closed now. Stopped about 1” shy of full closure. I used it to see out back on these humid mornings
Had my rear center power window upper track on my 2015 Lariat literally come off while driving. I ran into Lowes and purchased some industrial double stick tape to remount the upper track. Crappy way for Ford to mount the track rail instead of clips or screws, they used tape. I used tape to remedy a quick fix.
Wow thanks Tim this just happened to me, I noticed my back center window loose when getting in my truck yesterday and thought someone tried to break into but once I looked it over I seen the top piece was loose. Gona stop at home depot and try the tape and hopefully works. Been searching everywhere to see if anyone else had this problem w 2015 Lariat for a easy fix idea.👍🍻
What was your purpose for glass exchange? I’ve got a 14 F150 and the defrost doesn’t work which also prevents the heated side mirrors from working as well. The dealer said I’d have to replace the entire window assembly. Would replacing the center sliding glass solve my issue?
My rear seat is so tight to the back that I cant get even a thin piece of paper behind the seat, let alone my hand. And the head rest are so tight to the ceiling that I cant get them out. What am I doing wrong?
You have to raise the bottom seat cushion to about 45 degrees. This allows the back of the seat to come forward a bit. Use a long box wrench to grab the little button if you can't get your hand back there.
Hey Brad, how about the 2009-14 f150? Can the center slider be replaced without removing the whole assembly? I ordered the glass from you and today tried to install it following this video but I can't get it in.
