For the "Headshot" round Rythmind used a metronome on the device to create the pattern in the first drop (he probably could've produced the drop normally though you would've heard more of the development) which caused people to question if it was cheating. They let him off though it is now against the rules to do so. Edit: This is also why the drop felt that it had come out of no where

This battle is what got me hooked on Loop Station Beatboxing Battles and made NME my favorite Looper, unfortunately he has since taken a hiatus from Looping on to other business ventures from what I have heard. I really wish we could have heard more of his growth, he was something special imo. That "Heaven" round was truly a masterpiece, had a little bass tease in the middle and that teasing bassy outro that didnt drop that makes me want to hear it with a drop added, like a part 2 where God sends NME back and tells him his time time on earth is not finished....then you get an amazing drop! Oh how I can imagine! Viva NME!

the "Note" rythmind does is basicly a delay with the Feedback set to 100%, so it basicly delays/Repeats forever, and he tunes the sound by ajusting the delay time, probably between 30ms and 1ms you can hear at 1:26 that he uses a kick as input for the delay, which gives his bass the low-end, you can then twist the knobs to ajust volume and delay time, so basicly pitch it up/down and turn it off and on! so yes, every sound is triggered from their mouth! hope that clears stuff up for you :D

@@roboket3524 When I was first starting out, I decided to look up the most viewed beatbox reaction videos and react to those same videos… they didn’t end up performing all that well due to the content being oversaturated and no longer relevant. Hopefully he takes me up on my offer since I’m literally not asking for anything in return.

On Rythmind's second round, the harmonies are descending so that every last lowest note from the chord progression fits as the next lowest note for the first chord when it loops. Like that he can just layer the harmonies into the looping recording. Also regarding the pitch, the sound he is using is a kind of delay (I think it was the granular delay) that has a very high feedback and repitition rate, giving you that more synthy sound, where you can achieve exact note pitches by adjusting the delay length
