I hadn't seen him in anything before Picard S3, and I thought he was great in it. Definitely would like to see more of him in future Trek shows!

I loved watching Ed in Eragon so seeing him get a shot at a major role as Jean-Luc Picard's son in Picard Season 3 is wonderful. :) Thanks for the lovely interview.

I like playing podcasts on the background and at first I was interested- but did not expect the contents of this interview, I expected more of a dive into you which got me to click on this. I’ve never watched this pod before. But wow I am surprised! At first thinking it was boring, when I began listening, and played the Victoria episode and now onto this, I have a new appreciation in learning more about the people themselves! What a nice podcast, comforting to have normal ppl on the background, they definitely have a humble/ normal energy to the room as opposed to many podcasts endorsing how famous ppl are.
I appreciate that y’all talked about explaining racism to young impressionable minds. My daughter is on the Autism spectrum, and I sometimes struggle to explain things to her in a way that she will understand.
On a lighter note, love all of you and the podcast!

Really loving these 3 as hosts! so well spoken, intriguing topics to listen to that actually open our minds to the depths of different perspectives & realities during the ages that crafted us into who we are. The relatability I have absorbed from these episodes is always mind opening , yet incredibly warming to the soul. Victoria's episode even allowed me to shed some tears of happiness over recognition of self growth, and other eps have made me laughhhhh. A beautiful ride Podcrushed is... You is one of the most brilliant shows and makes you think and keeps you on your toes. I love every season which is rare for a show. Usually you just love the first season the most. As for penn and Ed both are so wonderful and talented love YOU and outlander and downing. Stephen bonnet gave me straight nightmares one of my other favorites. Love this podcast one of the best guests I think! ❤ we need more interviews with YOU guys!

Hey guys! Love the show. I think you guys could increase the gain on your audio track a couple decibels. I put my computer on max volume and it still sounds a bit low.
I feel the same way about the pressure from my immigrant parents. I think there's general resentment bc parents often don't care//don't explain what effects that pressure has.

A very interesting interview, funny and profound at the same time, you three are lovely people. You've dropped several sentences that are to be framed. But I'll keep Ed's reflection on the need to tell the right story narratively speaking. In my opinion, people are more important than shows and performances. And actors are people, and so are the viewers. There is no need to explicitly show a violent or violently sexual scene to narrate something and push the plot. Any halfway creative person could tell it without the need to violate any actor, and it has been done powerfully and elegantly many times in fiction. As a viewer, I gave up on Outlander very early, I had more than enough with the last few episodes of the first season. And it's not the first time I've abandoned fiction when I detect a taste for explicit violence that doesn't serve the plot. I think there are more people like me who dislike unnecessary cruelty or, at any rate, showing that cruelty explicitly when there is no need to do so. Because stories can be told in much better ways. At least that's my opinion. Thank you for sharing yours.
I LOVED the Eragon movie (saw it before I read the book) and the fact Ed just has bad/frustrating feelings attached to it makes me sad.

ERAGON WAS NOT A HUGE FRANCHISE OMG. THE MOVIE WAS A TERRIBLE ADAPTATION OF THE BOOK AND IT FLOPPED.
all that being said he's a phenomenal actor and he deserves all the props. Not his fault the movie was bad.
