Haha, THANKS SO MUCH. I bought an MVP a month ago and disassembled it so I could Cryo the barrel and when I went to put it back together I flat out forgot...lol. Thnx for a CLEAR camera view. Muchos grassy ass senor.
Thank you for the video Walmart had are bolt in ready to fire we had spent an hour trying to get it to go in until we gave up and looked on here it really helped us thank you
The only time you will need tools is taking the extractor and ejector out. They’re much easier and much forward to understand how to take them out. But the extractor is one of the most difficult piece to put it back together. Nearly every bolt is like this. Except for the lug nut pin.
This is a great video. Easy to follow. I do have a problem,y bolt is extracted, but it's in the FIRED position. I don't even know how that happened. How do I disassemble and reassemble it now.? Thanks
On my bolt, right by the firing pin there is a little spring, and it keeps falling out under its own weight. I don’t know it hasn’t done it before, but it’s really upsetting
I greatly appreciate your kind words, I’m glad I could help. It’s been a minute since I’ve put anything up on here, things have been hectic, but any suggestions on something to do? I’d be glad to entertain any ideas
I have a 6.5 prc the bolt comes apart ever 3 to 4 shots and I have to clean the hole in the bolt face to put it back together. Mossberg says nothing wrong have yall seen this?
Have you figured it out? If so, I need to know as well haha Edit: I figured it out. Take a socket about the size of the silver tab and while your pulling the black thing push the silver tab with the socket and rotate the tab at the same time.
Great video! A friend has a patriot .308. It’s new. The bolt is very hard to close, even without ammo in the gun. It takes allot of force pushing forward to close. Any tips or ideas? Thanks
@@cameroncross2016 used an 18mm socket to pull on the silver tab. It had alot of spring tension. Was tough. Saw some guy on TH-cam do it with a vice but didn't want to damage my bolt so I got someone to hold it

Great video, probably the best one I’ve seen at assembly and disassembly of this rifle part. Thank you!
Right on. Short and sweet. Had a primer blow out. Filled my bolt with brass. Works now.
Does the brass stop your trigger from resetting? I have been trying to find out whats wrong with my bolt.
@@TouringOx never did in my case. Just wouldn’t set off the primmer. Didn’t struck hard or deep enougg
Great video!! Thank for the clear instructions. I was able to fix the issue right away. I love that it was straight to the point!

Thanks very helpful. I have a 30/06. The pin in mine disappeared. The gunsmith said it split in half and must of fallen out. Have you heard of this?

Does there need to be lube inside the bolt?
My mossberg patriot .308 and won’t eject brass what should I do ?
It’s brand new
How do u turn the bolt back if you turn it the opposite direction in the beginning

David Bird lube it and use it some. Mines smooth as butter from factory
I got the one with the oversized bolt handle
I turned the piece the wrong direction now it's stuck in I think a cocked position
turned mine the wrong way. anyone know how to reset it
Nikolai Eschuk do you mean you turned it the wrong way when taking it apart or going back together?
@@09johnkeeg figured it out. Turned it the wrong way when taking out and released the firing pin spring. Had to manually re cock it
I did the same thing how did you release the spring?
