Hello, I enjoy your vlogs and especially your girls as I'm one of 3 daughters/sisters. I like how you keep it real. Before I got married (never married until 53 yo 😮) I was raised to be a strong independent woman. Somehow I thought I had to keep that independence and strength to be me or I would be doing women dirty. Then I read that when you think of a lioness do you think of her being weak, no she knows her place in relationship to the lion but is still fierce. No other animal will mess with a lioness. So go on and let your husband be the lion and king of your house and you be fierce as your husband's wife, girls mama and God's daughter. It actually softened me.

@@stephaniebranham7614 I really like the lioness analogy. Like you, I married later in life, at 49 years old and transitioning from being single all my adult life to now being a wife has been challenging. Learning my new role of humbleness, submissiveness , gentleness, and quietness and allowing my husband to lead is the path God has me on. Wishing you the much success in your growth.

I look forward to your blogs each week! I love how you and Jeremy keep it real and are so intentional in raising your daughters in the Lord...I was raised with feminism as a young girl and I carried that masculine spirit into my marriage. It wasn't until my marriage was in trouble and I sought God with all my heart did I learn why being created female was such a blessing and unique in His will for me. I started enjoying being female and the weaker vessel and learning to lean on my heavenly Father to meet my needs instead of the masculine attitude I'd been taught which was to conquer the world. I also hated being female growing up and was a tomboy, but God began to do a work in me and changed my mindset. I love wearing dresses and don't mind asking men at the store to help me get something from the top shelf. I'm teaching my daughters how beautiful feminity is and to not take it for granted. All the messages the word world gives us as females is opposite of God's Word. I'm working on cultivating a gentle and quiet spirit more and being intentional with spending quality time with our heavenly Father. There is nothing like it!..Thanks for sharing your faith journey with us(you and Jeremy),it is much needed and very encouraging..😊...Also,I'm going to make that fire cider too for my family too. I'm always looking at ingredients in our foods and am cooking more at home. I work outside the home currently and when I was married, but I believe being a sahm wife and mother is so beneficial to the family. I promote that belief to my son and three daughters. When we do things God's way there are so many benefits and blessings to it for generations to come, which is definitely needed in our black culture...Your daughters are so precious. They have such adorable personalities!💖💖💖😊

Omg this was the sweetest most heartfelt comment. I appreciate you sharing your experience. Man! God is so good. Just the way he has transformed our hearts in the aspect is such a blessing. Only great things come from exercising our femininity and I love it. ❤️❤️

You articulated so well what I have been struggling with and what has caused so many problems in my marriage, embracing my femininity. Like you, I am the type who always look for ways to resolve problems, so I am more critical of people and things that I shouldn’t be. I really love everything you said. Thank you.

@@HourPointOfView I love all your videos! I always learn something new from the renovation vlogs, and the homemaking content is so relaxing and relatable, especially after a long day with my little one. The family vlogs are always such a joy to watch because it’s so inspiring to see a young, thriving Black Christian family. Fun fact: I believe the Lord led me to your content. I was having a tough day at home with my toddler and couldn’t figure out why I felt so frustrated. Then I came across one of your shorts on Instagram, and you perfectly described everything I was feeling in that moment. It was exactly what I needed! ❤️
