Shot the weekend after Mr Carrie, totally agree some of the most challenging partridge I’ve ever shot! If it was kicking DC’s arse then that’s good enough for anyone! Have already booked our team in for another day for next season. Keep up the good work DC 👍, and thanks to Andy and his team for a very memorable days shooting !
Looks a great place and well presented birds. My only gripe would be why pickers are sending their dogs after birds that are clearly not runners during the drive - it was not a big day so plenty of time to pick up between drives. I find it so annoying particularly when I have one of my boys with me and they can see birds they have marked being picked by another dog.
Dear Mr. Carrie, what a great day again. I can only emphasize again and again how impressed I am with your shooting skills. I wish I could experience something like that live. As always stay safe and all the best from Austria!🇦🇹🤠👍
Awesome Dave you are one of the finest modern day game shots no doubt.Wonderful ambassador for our ever under threat sport. All the best to you and family.Kind regards Tony
Thanks Tony

Nice to see you again Dave after all these years and to see you looking well it Brian Ashley from Darfield last time I spoke to you was when I was driving for shaws skips look after your self mate
Another great one Dave. Very challenging fast birds well presented in some lovely terrain. The over your shoulder camera angle really highlighted the difficulty of putting the correct leads on some of those long crossers better than any Shot-Cam views, in my opinion. That third drive was just perfect and you pulled down some beauties. It looked like a great day all around! Thanks for this one and best regards as always, Ed.
You're one of the best I've ever seen in this business.
And landscape was wonderful and eye catching something dreamy type
Great Stuff 💯 Thanks Dave 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Again nice film
Looked like you were holding back because of the crease in your trousers😈 but found them once you got going...Thanks for the show..
😂thanks - caught me out on the first drive 😩
Muy excelentes lances de cazerias amigos saludos chebres caza
Well shot. Just an observation but did you change cartridges at some point as I noticed red cased empties being ejected. If so what were they please?
You seem to have changed cartridges from Black Gold before the shoot started, to a red case brand?
Mr se carri, no hay no hay nada más qe añadir
If you were shooting Black Gold UER's, why were the black cartridges coming out red and white as well?
Some oddments in my bag (even steel shot) but didn’t make any difference they caught me out completely on the first drive 😩
Hi dave.whitch use tsoke the barell?
3/4 full
🤔I think you’re loosing your touch
You missed one 😀
Several on the first drive 😂😩
Hold on. You mean 'arse' (silent 'r'), not 'ass' unless you're American. In genuine English, as used in England and also in the rest of the UK, an 'ass' is a small, usually grey, long-eared animal of the horse genus, whereas 'arse' is the buttocks. Therefore the title ought to be: 'Arse Kicking Partridges'.
Interestingly, the English form 'arse' is now rare in North America, where in later use 'ass' (originally a regional and colloquial pronunciation variant of arse, with assimilatory loss of 'r') became the usual North American equivalent.
Fascinating, isn't it? xx
Well said... Many traditions need to be preserved....
