Greetings from New Zealand thanks for the instruction I have just bought the hp tuner and changed the shift points on my C5 corvette and its much more fun cheers
Very nice info and very helpful , thanks for sharing. I wonder if you will do some adjustments to the TC like Apply/release for TC clutch. I’m following
Good tutorial. When using the HP Tuners, do you read both the PCM and TCM to do this? Or do you just read the TCM, then tweak and write it to the vehicle?
The main problem my 4l60e has is with downshifting i'd say 80% of the time it's downshifting properly but the other 20% it doesn't downshift it just feels like i'm in too high of a gear and the car speeds up slowly. Is this something that can be fixed with tuning?
I know this I'd a 2 year old comment but you have a mechanical issue causing slipping most likely, could be wear or could be cracked accumulator pistons or any combo of other common 4l60e problems
Love to see more tuning vids. I look forward to seeing more vids like this. There is one hell of a market for this type of video. I have a question. My truck feels like it slips when I go WOT to pass a car. So say i'm running 60 in 4th then go WOT it will down shift to 2nd and kinda feels like a slight slip before it really starts to pull. U ever run into this issue?
@@lsxtuner6126 not sure if it makes a difference but my tune on the trans is stock on my 09 rcbs Sierra 4.8. Just looking for some ideas to try. I'm going to play with shift timing and pressure just wasn't sure which part to mess with since it down shifts from 4th to 2nd. I'm assuming the 3rd to 2nd but just want to make sure. May just need to run some more logs and make sure it's not timing or torque mgt doing it.
To be honest I haven't done much with the 6l80e. There are several more tables so use common sense and make sure you don't contradict yourself in the various tables.
Noob here, This REALLY helped me!! Thank you!! Subbed!
Nice video, nice clear voice explaining!!! I will study my trans to see if everything looks like you explain...

Do you have a video on how to change the converter lock up point ?
Great vid!

Nice and understandable, thumbs up :)
Great video thanks
This is happening to mine I need this done really bad
Can you do that on Ford 4R100 and Sct software?
Would you be better off doing it in power mode tuning?
Sorry for writing to you here. I found another TCM editor program called HP Tuners. Can you recommend what is best to work with Chevrolet TCM?

You can read only the tcm, if the tcm is a separate module.

I'm sorry I don't do trouble shoot unless I can physically be with the vehicle.

Hey man how would I do this with a 6l80e? Would I do it the same way?

@@lsxtuner6126 gotcha I appreciate the advice
Can these changes be made in conjunction with a 4L80e and the hd2 kit?
