I wanted to let everyone that was thinking about getting a tune from Matt, this guy is legit! I recently bought his base tune for a fourth gen 5.3L and it awesome! My truck is driving way better than the stock tune. I can't wait to have a few weeks of driving so I can make any fine tuning adjustments, if I need any! the way it's driving now I may not even need to adjust it. Thanks for everything Matt!!!!!
No BS your videos have really helped me with figuring out what certain tables do and taking my beginner level tuning to the next level. Appreciate your time and content!
Preach it! Because of your videos I purchased HP tuners and I never thought I would take the time to learn tuning my own trucks until I found your videos. I have burned up 5 4l60e's in 11 years. Last rebuilt was August 2023, and at LS fest it would not 2-3 shift. Found my tuner 11 years ago had injector flow rate incorrect for my dead headed fuel system, my torque management was zeroed, I added it back from copying a stock base file, all my torque settings were maxed at 640ft lb, I changed to a realistic number, on the street I haven't had a malfunction yet. Can't wait to get back to a track.
Matt we need some merchandise shirts, hats, key lanyards stickers. After you tuned the cadillac for me i recommend you to everyone thats looking for a serious tuners you're the best brother.
Best decision Ive made was making the switch to you for my tuning, great with giving advise and helping with diagnosis issues your patience is out of this world 😂
HELL YEA!!!!! I am doing my first Ls3/6L90E swap in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor. I am 4 to 5 hours out from me. I am looking for you to tune my car once I get it done!!!!
love these vids bro, about to run your 6l80 tuning lecture on my '14. im learning here 🙏💪 LOVE THIS IDEA of the website assistance and knowledge base. Imma have to make that trip up there and get mine on the dyno for sure some day this year
Excellent excellent video! Waiting on your scaling video to confirm if I am going in the right direction. I have a p01 that I am learning to scale because of the limit for the injector size. I’m running 2150cc injectors but the ecu is limited to a certain pounds per hour.
Looking fwd to the 8L90 vid. I replaced the converter in my ‘18 Silverado with a Precision Industries 10.5” because of the constant shudder problems with the GM junk. Works great but I know there is room for improvement with lockup and shift timing. Most tuners I’ve talked to only want to disable TCC 1-4 and to me, that’s not a good solution.
I had my 6l80 rebuild with a performance kit by a very reputable trans shop in Australia and the shift under load are very good however during cruising it can be very clunky sometimes. The shop said it the way it has to be because of the extra clutchs but I wonder if it can be fixed by adjusting things on the low torque are.
I have a 2008 Gen 4 5.3 with a 4 l 60... When I put a 2600 stall converter in it.. now I get TCC stuck off code every time the torque converter goes to lock out. Is there something I need to change in the tune where is it tranny problem?
Just waiting on that High HP 6l80 video! This guy and his knowledge... makes everything look so easy.
