    I've visited their restaurant, they have the best Pasteis de Nata in all Portugal & mind you there's a long line. Also try their egg roll the best.

      They add some corn starch to the custard. As much as I know the starch creates kind of a layer between custard and pastry that avoids the pastry from getting soaked.

I'm telling you I rather eat street for for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I don't care about masks and gloves as long it's cooked correctly. And I've done that for 6 month! And I would ALWAYS prefer this kind of food over chain food! ALWAYS .. the only time I got serious food poisoning was from a bagel chain in the US and Mike from another one ALSO from the US! Why these women dont wear rubber gloves.l Wonder if their hands are clean?

    • @For91Days
      @For91Days  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The endless discussion about gloves - what's point of wearing gloves if they don't pay attention to general hygiene. Workers wash their hands, there are hygiene rules in place and on top of if the Pasteis are getting baked at high temperature. Also, do we need more plastic in our lives?

      Yes it's made with love and it was all very clean and hygienic. Workers washed their hands and made sure costumers get the best possible quality. And so you know, during our 9 years of traveling, eating street food around the world ... the only two time we got really sick was from eating in US fast food chains ... where they were gloves!!! Give me good street food over shitty gloved chain food .. ANY DAY!
