Works perfectly on Xbox One, bedrock 1.18.2. Just made it! Thank you! Make sure you use tinted glass instead of glass as the light from the killer trident chamber and around will prevent the spawner to spawn zombies. Also, light up all the caves. Everywhere. Yes, it’s tedious, but worth it. And set the simulation distance to the lowest (5 chunks on Xbox), and your game on hard.
Oh and once my cave is lit up, slime cubes spawn everywhere 🤦♀️ Not sure how it affects my rates, but I’m not willing to put carpet all over the cave 😂

The main thing you have to do is think up creative ideas. These can take many forms; cool builds, exploiting parts of the game for the player's advantage, different ways to play the game. Things like that.
Your tutorials are simple to understand, systematic steps that I can do it while playing. The tidbit infos during the steps are helpful as well. You're an ORIGINAL mate!

This is yet another JC build I am doing on my world! I've already got your kelp bonemeal contraption, your moss / azalea generator and now I can convert my already built zombie xp farm which has stopped working into this easier farm. I won't be using the Trident killer as got a powerful looting 3 sword with mending, so unlimited kills with it. Thanks JC!! We now need a universal minecart collection system which goes to an item sorter and bins unwanted items like the leather.

PSA: you will NOT be able to get tridents from this! Zombies that convert to drowned a will NEVER spawn with tridents. However you will still get all the other loot. Not saying this isn’t a great tutorial, I will probably be building this in the cave where I found a zombie spawner, but just telling u guys not to expect tridents in ur loot chest and be disappointed
This doesn't work anymore, I've tried it today and everytime I try to place the water inside the cobweb it just places it ontop of the cobweb and breaks the water and button.
Make sure you put it in hitbox of the cobweb and have the button already placed under it. You have to water log the spider web first or the water you put above it will break it. I just made this farm today and it's working other than I'm not getting tridents

Tip: if your a Semi good at redstone a way to Stop the drown from entering the farm so you can retrieve the trident when you leave the area is to use a Piston door
When I build such farms I'd use solid blocks where the tutorial use redstone torches, and have the direction of observers reversed. Should have no ill effect (an observer looks at a piston, sending signal to a solid blocks, powering the next piston). On the other hand, I'd always build a 4-block rail system to collect the loot. I found that if I don't do so at times some loot refuse to fall into the hopper minecart. Because I keep having to modify such farms, I always have a redstone lamp right on top of the spawner, so that I can switch off the farm with a lever, on a top floor which I'll also use to put a permanent infinite water source and to place the actual water source for pushing the mobs. Edit: One more thing. I won't recommend protecting the entrance just with a trapdoor. Seeing a creeper right next to myself when coming out is too exciting for me (although I keep getting exactly that somehow). At least, have a 9x9 fenced area around it lit with torches.
Amazing video as always JC I just got one question, why did you do it this way this time when in your last drowned tutorial you did it over the ocean, is it more efficient or is it just easier to make?
Best advice for creating infinite water sources. A Bucket of Axalotl can be made if the Axalotl is in flowing water, and when placed, leaves a source block. I know it's probably a bug or a niche trick, but I thought it may help you or any comments viewers.
Hi JC, thanks again for another great farm tutorial. One question however, I don’t seem to be getting any tridents from drowned in this farm. Is there anything specific about obtaining tridents? Does the shaft where the zombies turn into drowned have to be a certain length or longer for them to spawn carrying tridents? I have followed everything to the letter in your tutorial. I just don’t get any tridents after about 1 he of it running.
Great farm, built this in my survival world. Added an automatic sorting system to get rid of all the useless armor that comes with this farm because the inventory was getting filled way to quick 😅

Jason i have a question the drowned spawn under the water right and they will have tridents soo if there’s a zombie spawner under the water and make the farm does that means that the drowned will have a chance to drop tridents?
only naturally-spawned drowned drops trident. so even if the zombie spawner is under water, it will still spawn zombies and will then be converted to drowned after a few seconds.

U can use this as a stray farm to get slowness arrow, simple just replace the water on the cob with powder snow and be sure u have skeleton spawner.

Not correct. I get drowned in my regular zombie spawner if I leave leave long enough standing in the water and they sometimes drop tridents.
