Built this last night in our realm and it works beautifully! Expanded the storage for longer afk sessions and enclosed all the Redstone to clean it up. You could expand it for sure, but the single portal definitely produces! In 10 minutes I went from level 29 to 46. Thanks for all your great videos, your farms always work flawlessly! 💪🏼
This farm works extremely well haven’t had any problems yet I afked for about 20 min and I got 60 levels and 5 stacks of gold and a lot of rotten flesh and it’s super simple to build. GREAT farm!!!

Dope! Just built today after checking it worked in creative and working great in survival. Only fell off the top of the nether portal and died once during the build. 😆
The farm works really well! I had a small problem with the minecart not picking up loot every once and a while. Easy fix by making the floor 4 mud blocks and placing 4 hoppers directly underneath leading into the collection system
Jason I took this farm and added 20 furnaces to turn the gold swords into gold nuggets and then fed them back into the system also I added a crafter to take the gold ingots and turn them into gold blocks
Was that enough furnaces? I tried a smaller scale but everything got clogged with the gold swords. It feels like such a waste though letting all the swords burn in lava
@@mlabbadia I forgot to flip all the switches before I ran my farm one day and when I flipped it on it used a total of 12 furnaces so 12 would be enough

Yeah, I already made his gold farm from 3 years. I like it cause the collection system is underground. I just remove the chest for gold nuggets and made that crafter contraption.
you can make a kelp farm to use as fuel to burn the golden swords and get a golden nugget instead of burning them in lava, and at the same time, you have a simple xp farm from the kelp farm and burned swords. appreciate your work JC❤

I accidently broke mine, but I figured it out how to fix it. If your portal is not turning off and on, and all the redstone/water bucket is set up right, double check the zero tick lava refresh area @13:34. I removed the observer and added it back and it started to update the lava again.
This guy just brought my realm to the next level! I was already pretty rich, but I hadn’t found a fortress yet, but because of this guy I think I’m finally ready to move on in my world. Thank you bro!
This just put my skeleton & endermen farm out of business... I had to adjust the hoppers abit due to my own mistakes, but this video was very easy to follow along with, Great video!
This works so well. I’m out of things to enchant and have more than enough gold. Level 50 within 5 minutes. Crazy. It was great before, but I replaced the waterfall row the pigs go down with blue ice to make them move faster. I also really like how you break down every step for noobs like me. Thanks much bro
Great farm. I made a mistake of going up too many blocks, so they would die immediately to fall damage. But a water bucket and trap door inside the chute from the portal to the trident killer fixed that quickly
What I do now is I use mud for the trident killer floor, mud being not a full block, a normal hopper is able to pick stuff up from the top of the block, saves the hopper minecart
Still works well on November 11th If you are a beginner like me and is short of redstone, a simple red stone clock for that water dispense system works just fine, just a bit inconvenient
Haven’t you said in the past it is preferable to use powdered snow instead of a water bucket if possible as it it will allow you to put out and reignite the portal faster? Is that still the case or no?
Gotta be careful standing next to it because they will be pushed out. Had it happen to me a couple of times. Now i sit down under the hoppers and collect experience.
fr? kuz im on a normal difficulty creative world to test it and i cant get the pigmen to spawn at all, tried two portals, one facing north south and one facing east west, lit and broke both of them over 100 times and not a single mob spawned. even tried making little platforms for them to spawn on and still nothing
I recommend using his other piglin farm from abt 7 months ago, very similar to this but an extra portal. 30 levels in 2 min and had treated me well with drops.
To anyone having issues with the crafter randomly stopping. You can connect the item disposal redstone clock to the gold crafter. Not as fancy. But works
@@BrennenCleary sorry for the late reply. Basically the redstone connected to the dispenser that burns your excess items has ticking redstone components (turning on and off), simply connect it via redstone dust to your gold making crafter
This is great, me and my buddy have it on our server. If you do build it on a server make sure to have tridents ready as you’ll need a new one each time whoever launched it leaves, so does the trident. And a way up to the top. You could use a trap door in place of one of the pieces of glass or just have glass ready to replace. Regardless thanks this is awesome
2 things I wanna ask… A. If you ever need to revamp this again could you make it where you have a second auto crafting system to make gold into gold blocks? B. Does it matter where the nether spawn is for the portal?
Doesn't seem to be connected to the Redstone clock, don't know why but I think there is a way to connect them with Redstone so you should be able to DIY it.
This one is actually insane very cool Works awesome thank you again🎉 the Trident keeps disappearing along with the Minecart with hopper they may be catching on although still awesome video
The minecart & trident disappearing is a known bug. Usually happens when you moved to a chunk outside the simulation distance of them and move back again. When the chunk reloads. To help with this, I put a dispenser full of minecart with hoppers pointing at where the cart needs to go. And added a button to the dispenser. Whenever I need a new cart, just hit the button
Btw guys make sure that fire spreads is on. I was playing in my world and apparently I had turned it off for some reason and had to spend 10 minutes figuring out why the portal wasn’t lighting 😂
If anyone wants to boost their rates even more then i recomend that you dont burn the swords but smelt them i belive anyone can make simple redstone so it seems easy
If you are having trouble with the sorting system going down replace the cart with hopper with just regular hoppers, mine would just randomly disappear so far it’s working normally like this
In all honesty this is a very good farm, but it felt like this tutorial could’ve been better. The way you kept going up and down the farm flying(because you’re in creative) isnt ideal for people who are playing in survival, I completely understand why you’re in creative but when playing in survival, constantly going up and down the farm is a real pain. The steps couldve been rearranged so you could show how to build everything we need to build on the top portion (portal ignition and extinguish) and then the bottom portion (trident killer and storage/redstone) doing it this way could make it way easier navigating, and building this farm in survival. Im not sure how other people watch minecraft farms without usually skim through it and make sure to understand, then watch it all the way through. But it could be frustrating when watching it all the way through only to realize the hassle of going up and down. Other then the steps being a little off(for better navigation in survival) this is a great farm, and love your work!! (also no hate at all, just some info that I think would help)
I swear this is such a common issue with Minecraft build tutorials. Don't they know that the majority of viewers want this for a survival world? Who the hell wants a gold farm in creative Lmfao
usually what i would do to expand or put the items where i want is a dispenser shooting into a water elevator type of thing and lead it to where i want
Love your stuff JC... I tried this up to the test point and didn't get piglins... then I realized it was for BEDROCK and I'm on Java - DUh. Thanks for everything you do though. Your tutorials are easy to follow and I've used a few that work on Java also.
Yeah the auto crafter didn’t work for me it just kept sorting and disappearing and replacing with 1 after another lol but nice xp farm (edit) I had to fix the way the droppers were facing but now the auto crafter for gold and rotten flesh works now 💯
I’ve built this farm but 2 portals connected to 1 killing chamber and I get 30 lvls in 2 min and a bunch of gold and too much rotten flesh it’s insane, very good tutorial 👍
@griffoce I found a solution to this but it requires extra space. The Redstone clock he shows us at 18:20 can be used to force the crafter to make ingots. Make another clock that connects to a sticky piston. Attach a Redstone block to the piston so when the clock is on and powering the piston it'll shift the block. At 16:05 when he places the redstone, make sure you skip the 3rd he places. The clock setup powering the sticky piston will shift a block into the spot that 3rd redstone would be. I came up with this idea after trying to fix it. I broke a Redstone piece on the ground and it forced the machine to craft an ingot. Also it's important to place a solid block under the crafter that DOESNT have the Redstone line under it. I noticed keeping the solid block under it allows it to power on.
As someone who understands nothing when it comes to stuff like this so when I first read this I was hella confused but after going to the times u said and dissecting it I finally got it and I gotta say thank u so much cuz now my farm works! 😊
A possible problem that might not make the lave ignite the portal is the dispenser being placed inside the portal place it a block back and it will work
This is actually a really good farm. Better than all the tuts that put bedrock in the title but build a farm that only works on java. Very decent mid-game xp.
Great vid, second time building this thing, really difficult in survival but worth it, even more difficult this second time cause I’m having to mirror some things as my piglins spawned on the other side
can anyone help me it worked perfectly fine for like a day or two then i went to go use it and the portal would light very inconsistently like itll light, break and stay off for like 5-7 seconds then light and break 3 times in a row then just not light for another 10 seconds its hurting the xp/gold rates a lot
if its what i think you mean then what i did i had the exact same problem and i just broke and replaced the observers the exact same way and then placed the lava on the middle one and now its working fine
It won’t work under level 0. Trust me 🥲🥲 other than that I love putting mine in huge caves as long as you’re watching your hight. The redstone and mechanical bits don’t matter but the portal has to be above 0
Tip for everyone I like to use. If you have a villager trading station, build these next to each other then run a minecart with hopper to automatically take the rotten flesh from the XP farm to the trading station.
this is a great bedrock farm. just a little afk time and i got to lvl 130 and got over 9 stacks of gold. and enough rotten flesh for 2 stacks of emeralds. materials list is also very cheap and bedrock tridents are easy to get i swam around in a river and got one in 30 minutes
I had a problem with the portal not appearing, then I went to the settings and turned on the spread of fire and it worked, if anyone needs it, take note
Do you have to build it far from ur normal portal u use because I built the old farm at least 100 blocks away from my primary portal and pigmen kept spawning on that side n killed me whenever I’d enter the nether

This works! Finally a working gold farm for bedrock. I ran this farm for 40 min and it gave me stacks of gold ingot and XP. Thanks a lot JC!❤

Why put the auto portal breaker thing at the opposite end? Would it still work if that were moved to the other side and made more compacted?
The water would interfere with the piglin flow
Why even break the portal? Does it increase the chance of them coming through when it’s first lit?

For anyone wondering you can add up to 4 portals to spawn them and funnel them into the same kill chamber. It’s super nice.
Piglins are not spawning in. I am underground does that make a difference?
If you want it to work it everything he does exactly, and as close to a location he is
Keep the portal above ground but everything else is fine underground, if you wanna hide the portal you could build it then hide it in a building

No the trap doors won't light on fire, it's the same as regular doors or wooden signs when mining, you're good 🙏🏽

Love your stuff JC... I tried this up to the test point and didn't get piglins... then I realized it was for BEDROCK and I'm on Java - DUh. Thanks for everything you do though. Your tutorials are easy to follow and I've used a few that work on Java also.
Yeah the auto crafter didn’t work for me it just kept sorting and disappearing and replacing with 1 after another lol but nice xp farm (edit) I had to fix the way the droppers were facing but now the auto crafter for gold and rotten flesh works now 💯
Same for me. Still get the gold whenever they drop a full ingot, but it’s mad slow lol
I’ve built this farm but 2 portals connected to 1 killing chamber and I get 30 lvls in 2 min and a bunch of gold and too much rotten flesh it’s insane, very good tutorial 👍

@griffoce I found a solution to this but it requires extra space. The Redstone clock he shows us at 18:20 can be used to force the crafter to make ingots. Make another clock that connects to a sticky piston. Attach a Redstone block to the piston so when the clock is on and powering the piston it'll shift the block. At 16:05 when he places the redstone, make sure you skip the 3rd he places. The clock setup powering the sticky piston will shift a block into the spot that 3rd redstone would be.
I came up with this idea after trying to fix it. I broke a Redstone piece on the ground and it forced the machine to craft an ingot. Also it's important to place a solid block under the crafter that DOESNT have the Redstone line under it. I noticed keeping the solid block under it allows it to power on.
As someone who understands nothing when it comes to stuff like this so when I first read this I was hella confused but after going to the times u said and dissecting it I finally got it and I gotta say thank u so much cuz now my farm works! 😊

A possible problem that might not make the lave ignite the portal is the dispenser being placed inside the portal place it a block back and it will work

This is actually a really good farm. Better than all the tuts that put bedrock in the title but build a farm that only works on java. Very decent mid-game xp.

can anyone help me it worked perfectly fine for like a day or two then i went to go use it and the portal would light very inconsistently like itll light, break and stay off for like 5-7 seconds then light and break 3 times in a row then just not light for another 10 seconds its hurting the xp/gold rates a lot
My portal also is slow, rates dropped hugely
if its what i think you mean then what i did i had the exact same problem and i just broke and replaced the observers the exact same way and then placed the lava on the middle one and now its working fine

It won’t work under level 0. Trust me 🥲🥲 other than that I love putting mine in huge caves as long as you’re watching your hight. The redstone and mechanical bits don’t matter but the portal has to be above 0

Tip for everyone I like to use. If you have a villager trading station, build these next to each other then run a minecart with hopper to automatically take the rotten flesh from the XP farm to the trading station.

this is a great bedrock farm. just a little afk time and i got to lvl 130 and got over 9 stacks of gold. and enough rotten flesh for 2 stacks of emeralds. materials list is also very cheap and bedrock tridents are easy to get i swam around in a river and got one in 30 minutes

Do you have to build it far from ur normal portal u use because I built the old farm at least 100 blocks away from my primary portal and pigmen kept spawning on that side n killed me whenever I’d enter the nether
