    Hi, great video bye the way. I noticed you mentioned you'd like to change the screen view on your favourite screen. This is easy to do. Find the "settings" screen then choose, screens. This gives you a list of screens. Select the screen you'd like to modify and you can see you can add or remove the number of tiles as well as choose what is on each tile. I'm sure once you've found that, you'll be able to figure out how to configure it? Hope that's helpful. 👍

    Also, my ebikeConnect does not record my activities. Do you need use map and set destination in order to record your activities? I registered and also my phone synchronized whit Kiox.. Already did 400km in a week, but shows Overall: 0km :/ I just using Strava and Komoot. (Maybe your know, if I need Premium komoot account in order to syn..)
    Thanks

    • @ruirodtube
      @ruirodtube  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      wolkuz you don’t need to set a destination nor to use third party apps.
      Keep the eBikeConnect app always working in the background. Make sure Bluetooth is always on. Check the page where it says the bike is connected to the bike via Bluetooth.
      If all of that works then eBikeConnect should record automatically.

    Hi, your videos are brilliant. I wanted to ask, the cable to connect the kiox to your smartphone... Is it a Micro B (Kiox connector) to Micro C (for Samsung) or Lightning (Apple). I assume you have a Samsung phone as your other comment linked to a cable for Micro C?

    • @Zangiee

      Hi Anis, thanks!
      I use an iPhone.
      I ordered a Micro-USB to Lightning cable from ebiketuningshop and it works great. I looked for it again today and it seems unavailable from that website unfortunately.
      I had previously used an adaptor cable Micro-USB to normal USB to which I attached the iPhone USB to Lightning cable. It also worked great but it was long and bulky.

    • @ruirodtube
      @ruirodtube  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a Micro-USB to Lightning cable.
      I used for a while an Micro-USB to USB adaptor to which I connected the USB to Lightning standard cable supplied with the iPhone.
      I'm sure all connector combinations are available online these days.

    Is it possible to export workout data in Garmin Connect?

    • @ruirodtube

      Andrea Biancucci I’m not sure but there seems to be no direct interface option available.
      The export options available in the EbikeConnect website are:
      1. Strava
      2. GPX
      3. CSV
      4. TCX
      5. Facebook (😂)
      Maybe if you export the workout to GPX you could then import it to Garmin Connect?

    Hello !! I have the same HPC 140 SL irridium green :) What do you use to have your phone on handlebar? Are you happy with it, not afraid it fails with rocks and vibrations?

    • @ruirodtube
      @ruirodtube  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      elno5 it’s a great e-bike. I use the TOPEAK Ridecase Mount and Ridecase for iPhone 8.
      I’m very happy with it.
      It bolts onto the headset and replaces the headset cap and bolt. The metal is of very good quality. The ridecase is held very tightly and secure. It never slipped out.
      I can place the phone in portrait mode or turn it left or right onto the landscape position. The pivot point in located on the middle.
      You can also chose the tilt by unscrewing the headset bolt and then screwing it back on but once you found the tilt I recommend not messing too much with the headset bolts otherwise it might start causing annoying cracking noises while riding.
      I own several mounts which I bought throughout the years, (one for each of my bikes and even for my home trainer) and as I changed iPhones (from 4 to 5 to 8) I just bought the new case which remains compatible with the old mounts.
      Cheers!
