If Monk worked in retail today, he could put the cruelest customer in their place all while keeping each aisle spotless. He might drive killers crazy but I need that type of high standard whenever I’m working
You really think he could put the cruelest customers in their place? I love Monk but he's not the most confident man, if he's putting anyone in their place it would probably be done unintentionally (with the exception of killers).
@@claudia.clementine It would kind of work that way I suppose. He’d be out of his element at first, but once he gets in his groove, whether it’s intentional or not, he’d be able to push his obstacles aside. I can’t think of a way to explain it, but I do also value your take on it too!
How do you not get burned out? My perfectionism pisses other people off but it also has the effect of them over relying on my work ethic to the point I eventually have to quit the job due to stress and physical fatigue
don't forget when he was investigating that rich dude for a double homicide from a year ago, and accidentally became his butler because the last one got killed. what incredible coincidence
I mean these places are always hiring and it was literally a plot point that workers were being murdered...... literal murder tends to put vacancies in job positions buddy
I love the customer's smile at 2:08. I'm not sure if it's because he's ticklish and Adrian grabbed his toe with the grabber, or he's just tickled in the figurative sense. But it's adorable either way.
I totally love Monk because he is SO me -- the price sticker being perfectly placed on the cans of Lysol and the shirt button threads having to be sewn in the same direction.
2:39 i aspire to be like monk. He is so unbothered about others. He just wants to sweep the street. Also, the psychologist is the best. This show is so good
That might have been a error. When Monk was taking off all the price stickers on the Lysol he just piled them on the ground. I don't know if he would have done that.He moreso would have had a little bin or trash can to put them in, not just flick them on the ground.
I mean he also touches poles and trees despite being a germaphobe, I chalk it up to certain compulsions people with OCD have being irrational at times.
My opinion: I've seen so many tv shows. Mr Monk is the best show of all time. The best. Of all time. I keep judging shows, but nothing else comes even close. 1. the writing, 2. Mr Shaloub (one of the most extraordinary actors ever), 3. the supporting cast. It is perfect. Funny how a show about someone with autism/OCD is perfection.
Omg, I move stuff with my feet all the time the way he does with the trolleys! I have OCD. I almost laughed out loud like a maniac when there's someone on a zoom call next to me. Omg.
As a farmer, Monk's slow work speed (like stickering the lysol cans) would infuriate me. But his matter of fact personality would be epic for irate customers, and honestly he'd probably put me at ease 😂
If it weren't for all the crime/violence stuff, I would watch Monk all the time. They should make a rated G version where it's just the jokes and Monk being Monk
In Islam, excellence is the mastery of the work that a Muslim does and the effort to perfect it so that it becomes perfect. If the work is specific to people, it must be performed in the perfect way, as if the employer is an expert in this work and follows up on the worker with great precision.

Tony Shaloub is very good but cmon David Suchet as Poirot is untouchable. And he’s kind of the original OCD detective. Not as extreme but they would not have diagnosed it back then anyway. I really like Tony Shaloub but if I had to pick one, it’s not hard. No disrespect to a great show. We can’t all have Agatha Christie for our source material.
So, what's the deal with Pablo, inspector 8's son? This compilation is horrible. First, he has one assistant, next frame is another lady, then again in the Mart. You guys do that a new time, and I never click on your posts again.
He was framed for murder. Monk finds the real killer so #8 can focus at work again. And right an injustice. But mostly so he can have his shirts properly inspected.

Thank God monk was always able to get the conveniently available part-time position at any of the stores he was investigating the murders from😂

@aSipOfHemlocktea no they weren't because monk would be solving seriel murders instead of grifts every week, go back to SVU 🙄
Monk with the drycleaning lady and the special price for him was hilarious 😂😂😂
"Now we're gonna be up all night wondering who that was." love that line so much.
I love the subtle joke of the dumb characters being named Morris and Ronnie as in morons.
I never noticed 😮
“Deodorant aisle 4.” 😂 😂
I think that was Carl from ATHF!!

Seeing Elias starting his empire by working as undercover security was worth it.

This show is so good
Lol the scene where Monk thought he saw Dr Kroger steal a granola bar from Mega Mart:) And also the asian lady "Parallel, that's my style Mr.Monk"
I love how he couldn't focus until Kroger pulls the granola bar out of his pocket and starts eating it. Kroger was the best.
@@meghanphillips3495 Nothing seemed to phase him. :)
I miss monk. Thank goodness for this channel
The movie was great !
Peacock has all seasons
It is on Netflix now
This made me realize I could not rewatch Monk today and have the same fun that I had back then. I'm too easy to tick off now.
Ticked off, at Monk?
I would be. I can't handle "this", even if it is something they cannot help. It drives me up the walls.
😂 love Mrs. Ling

Agreed it was a great show with a Autistic/OCD character. 👍
8:28 Monk repeating paragraphs.
I doubt he would ever use a font like that lol

Like the comment but perfection is impossible. Yet one should work and strive for perfection achieving better results time after time.
In the west we used to call it the "Protestant work ethic". Unfortunately it has long been fading from this world.
