Aww that brought back memories I used to make that every year plus the fingers . A tip cut the pumpkin in half pierce it and put in the microwave for a few mins , the skin just peels off you can scoop out the stringy bits and the flesh is ready to put in the soup . Also the pulp of the pumpkin is great to make a cake it’s similar to carrot cake it’s lovely .

Love pumkin soup 🍲 I made curried pumkin soup it's lovely aswell, I make it a lot in the winter and that's what I use to peel it a potato peeler it's much easier. Must try the fingers though nice ❤x nice to see u all together ❤ 😊 the seeds are nice with spices and roasted in the oven as a wee snack yummy x

Great vlog guys🩷 I grow & make pumpkin soups lots one of my favourites, I add big spoonful of coriander & coconut milk instead of cream it’s goooorgous! Try roasted veg with the pumpkin too sprinkle on any favourite spices that’s gooorgous too! Top tip tho fry that bacon first adds a better flavour… oh brilliant tip Martin potatoe peeler doing that from now on, I HATE chopping & peeling pumpkins 🎃💕
Hi Martin, Sharon,Lisa and Mark, i've never had pumpkin soup or ever bought a pumpkin. It looked a good hearty soup just right for the cold weather. I've just bought the cosori pressure cooker, i'm looking forward to using it.
I do not like pumpkin at at all, but like to see Martin and Sharon and their friends seem fun too. That was a clever trick with the peeler taking the skin off.
Hi all I've got a Tower pressure cooker the old type with the weight on the top and the rubber gasket in the lid it also has a pressure relief valve as a safety feature so if it did boil dry it would just blow the vent not the lid .....there are a lot of stories about the old pressure cookers can't afford a new ninja one as I've recently bought the air fryer lol run out of kitchen worktop 😅 thanks for the recipe I will try that 😊
Pumpkin soup is delicious thank you all. If you don't have a pressure cooker i think you could use a slow cooker. Has anyone made it in a slow cooker, would this be better cooked on the high setting ? Thank you Northerners for your help. ❤❤❤❤ Eileen xxxx
