This was a take off of PLAY SCHOOL. a children's TV show that ran for 50 years..... EVERY Australian knows the original... They were known to sometimes throw a bit of adult comment in.. the kids had no idea.
@sunisbest1234 my wife goes on how "toy story was the first show to mix adult and child humour " .."to get fathers into cinemas". I think it's been going on for years, whether deliberately or by accident.
The actual show 'Playschool' was educational, it was a 'must watch' show for little ones, but my, some of the comments were certainly for mums only, and usually came with a wink,
Bit of trivia about Play School. There actually was a married couple on the show, though not often presenting together... & they're no longer married to each other. This skit always reminds me of this lol.
The comedy company would take the p155 out of a lot of tv shows that were on at the time . This is a classic 😂. Glen Robbins played many characters Uncle Arthur , Kel Knight in Kath and Kim, Russell Coight , and many more . Mary was prob best known as Kylie Mole she goes she goes she just goes 😂. Still funny as today 😂 . Good one Anthea
Comedy Company went up against 'Sixty Minutes', which was king of Sunday evenings here in Australia and had been for years. Comedy Company took off and just smashed it and the Sixty Minutes juggernaut had finally been conquered.
@@Love_sChild Well, maybe a snoozefest for you but people loved that 'snoozefest'.....as I said, it was the ratings king on Sunday night, that is undisputable.....but yes, the Comedy Company was good.
G'day Mike, If you had grown up watching childrens TV in Australia, this would have made more sence. I'm sure the basic humour is portrayed but without that deeper knowlage you will miss lots of detail.
Ahh, the gold old days. They don't do shows like this anymore on Oz TV.
Classic old Australian comedy, (Australian comedy company) were big on Australian tv back in the day. Nice reminder from the good old days.
@beresfordthompson1370 Haven't watched TV in years. there's only "reality TV " crap on.
@ me either, back then there were shows worth turning the tele on for, not much now.

😂John Hamblin was hilarious! Of course I didn’t know that when I was a toddler… 😂😅❤🇦🇺👍
@turdferguson400 me neither.
Like a lot of Aussie kids shows back then the adult content that flew right over our heads as kids is hilarious.

Been in 3 relationships, been single now for 34 years, fed up with the attitude, now I am happy, love being single my life is mine
Memories! That was a very clever show, we don't have this sort of comedy on tv anymore, someone may be offended! 🧐👍
that was fun, there were some good lines in that play on words routine
Spoof on Play School 😂
Yep! .... "In the sh*t" is pretty universal I think.
There are men copping it in countless different languages right now!😂🤣🤣🤨🤔🤣🤣🤣

Yes, because Comedy Company was GOOD. Sixty minutes was a snoozefest.

@ as a teenager the last i wanted to see was a current affairs/propaganda show! Comedy company was a blessed reprieve!
@@Love_sChild Good for you. You weren't alone.

Drive someone crazy hey, yeah everyone needs a hobby, lol. People are people all round the world the same. lol.
