I am so relieved that this video is about CoQ10 as I take it daily and do not have to go and buy something new. thank you so much Mark, great information.
I am so glad I saw this ... I ran out of ubiquinol (a form of CoQ10) a week, or so, ago and stopped taking it. I got such a bad headache that lasted all day yesterday and all day today. Time to restock and start taking it again!
@@rob9495 it supports the mitochondrial function & reduces intra ocular pressure… has many many benefits for people with eye issues and is great to take to prevent them. It helps EVERYONES EYES…. Just do some research it’s easy. You’ll be able to read it yourself that way..
As someone who has been having dialysis for over 3 years, I haven't finished listening to this video yet but my online researches are throwing up lots of info about the benefits of CoQ10 for dialysis patients.
Dr. Hyman, being a vegan, I eat lots of cruciferous vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, vitamin C foods, oranges, seeds, nuts, lots of lentils and legumes. Are you saying even with my diet, I should be taking Co Q 10??? Thank you!
Thank you Dr. Hyman for this information! Is your book going to be available in other languages, Spanish? Is it going to be available as an audiobook as well?
I’m doing 20:4 fasting, yesterday my Ketosis went to really really dark about 8+. I felt my heart racing and shaking. Heart felt pounding. I’m T2 Pre diabetic. just my fasting sugar is around 6.6 but my A1C was 5.4 but now came down to 5.2. Yesterday my sugar was 4.7 during my high ketones. Do I need to worry about anything? I ate some chicken soup and it came down to lighter around 4.
It is absolutely normal. You thought as it was abnormal, that is why you felt heart racing and shaking. You cannot have hpoglycemia or low sugar level problems until you eat diabetic medications. Lower the sugar levels, better it is for your excellent health.
When I took an Statin in the hospital because of myocartitis, it believe it caused my stroke. Because I passed out, the doktors ran to give me adrenalin, and afterwards I saw double pictures. I‘m also a migraine patient, so maybe I had severe q10 difficiency… ?
Hey Mark how much per day. Should you take it with fatty foods or? something else. Is it better in the morning or night or several times per day. I take my magnesium with green foods and Vitamin B with b type foods. Regards Steve Mashford
Perhaps a different title would have been a bit sharper, it looks like spam / clickbait, and you're too informative a source to turn viewers off in that manner! we need a diet revolution and folks like you lead the way!
I have much respect for Dr Hyman but I question these types of videos. WebMD says one of the side affects is lowering blood pressure. Among others. We all know over the counter drugs can be dangerous. Sure, I want to continue to learn about beneficial drugs. Please also include the possible side effects. Otherwise people will see this as the same as eating food. It's not food and can be detrimental if one does not know what to look out for when considering a new regimen. My head spins when videos say you can find this in these foods. In this case he mentioned oranges. In previous videos he likely talked about the evils of fruit. I say likely because I watch too many keto videos. Which is it? Does coQ10 turn oranges into a good choice? Or because of the fructose better to look elsewhere?
"We all know over the counter drugs can be dangerous" This may be true, especially tylenol which kills the liver in about 10,000 people/year when they are using it according to drs instructions. NSAIDS used to account for more adverse reactions and deaths than all other drugs combined, including anesthetic agents! The prescription drugs are, for the most part, much more dangerous and cause much more damage(iatrogenic harm)than supplements. Stuff like tylenol, ibuprofen, prilosec definately kill people every day and those are the ones most docs recommend.
It comes from eating to many simple carbs for many years probably decades. No more pasta, bread, rice, potatoes, and never never eat anything with added sugar or corn syrup. No soda or fruit juices. Fruit is not your friend. Get a blood sugar meter and test your self to see your progress and see how certain foods affect your blood sugar. Check out beat diabetes on you tube. It's a good resource and not boring. Good luck
Nor do they tell you the 36% reduction is a relative Risk Reduction and that the true, Absolute Risk Reduction for a statin is around 1%. Pharma likes to (ab)use statistics to suit their marketing. Pfizer did exactly the same with the covid "vaccine". ARR was 0.8% !!
I think your a good man however i have taken co enzyme Q10 i tried it four times and the only recorded changes i can honestly report was expensive Pee nothing more sorry Sir.
Consider you are not very healthy. The healthier I become the more sensitive to minute changes. I have been practising many health practices over 8 years, I now feel like 25 again, I am 62, look at Mark he say it how it is. Hope you well, good luck. Steve

CoQ10 Food Sources:
Wild caught cold water fish - trout, mackerel, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, oranges, nuts and seeds.
Beef Heart is a good source too.
Spinach has highest oxalates though
I can definitely agree, I have numerous chronic health issues and it’s made a huge difference even after only a few days

Love your podcast. Is it possible you can improve your voice recording device? Not very clear . Thanks

Thank you!
Excellent for the mitrochondria! Been taking it for a while. Great for energy and longevity.
challenging to know which supplements to buy that are effective so many bad companies out there.

Hello Dr
I like how you are explaining each supplement
It’s use
And what’s it for in a single way 😊🇮🇪🙋♀️
How much of the CoQ10 should one take? I am a chronic migraine sufferer.
What brand do you take?
Thank you for all your work. ❤❤❤

Ubiquinol CoQ10 is best
I alway feel dysphoric when I take Co Q10. Almost like I'm going to have an allergic reaction. Doesn't matter what brand or form.

Ask your health care professionals!
Yes. Don’t do such strict fast. Obviously is not for you. Long fast is not for everyone
If you are doing 20 hours fasting, you must not take any diabetic medication.
@@MuhammadTariq-be3gq I’m not on any diabetic meds. Not sure if 8+ ketosis is normal

How much do you recommend a day (i.e. 100mg?)
Thanks for sharing
Does it feed already have cancer cells with energy? Really would not want that....

I believe that statins suppress other functions apart from CoQ10?
Wonderful thank you

He NEVER gives amounts he just talks and talks
The athleticgreens are pretty costly. Anything out there as good but less expensive?

Is asthaxanthin way better than co q q10?
Good question
There are reviews pointing out that astaxhantine brings about ED.
Thank you! 🤗
With co Q10 do we need to take vitamin E separately .
It makes me tired so I take it before bed. Weird since everyone else seems to get energy from it.

Mighty meats website says nothing about adding organ meats and they’re completely sold out . Unaffordable anyway.
Please do a show on pre-diabetes. I was diagnosed with it, but I am otherwise healthy, have a low weight, and a healthy diet. I’m perplexed.

go keto correct it before it happens

So why is it that Dr's do not tell their patients automatically to take it when they prescribe the statin???

Focus on the message
Take grass fed pasture raised organic ground heart capsules. ANCESTRAL supplements make it and other companies too.
Don’t take it around weight training, it blunts muscle growth
Broccoli sprouts have more bioavailable coQ10 than supplements
Most of the COQ10 comes out of China🤗
Oh no
Bias.😢

Pure Encapsulation?? No thanks! It’s a Nestle owned company
But they do a lot of testing on their supplements for impurities .
