    I’m doing 20:4 fasting, yesterday my Ketosis went to really really dark about 8+. I felt my heart racing and shaking. Heart felt pounding. I’m T2 Pre diabetic. just my fasting sugar is around 6.6 but my A1C was 5.4 but now came down to 5.2. Yesterday my sugar was 4.7 during my high ketones. Do I need to worry about anything? I ate some chicken soup and it came down to lighter around 4.

    I have much respect for Dr Hyman but I question these types of videos. WebMD says one of the side affects is lowering blood pressure. Among others. We all know over the counter drugs can be dangerous. Sure, I want to continue to learn about beneficial drugs. Please also include the possible side effects. Otherwise people will see this as the same as eating food. It's not food and can be detrimental if one does not know what to look out for when considering a new regimen.
    My head spins when videos say you can find this in these foods. In this case he mentioned oranges. In previous videos he likely talked about the evils of fruit. I say likely because I watch too many keto videos. Which is it? Does coQ10 turn oranges into a good choice? Or because of the fructose better to look elsewhere?

    • @nancylouin2002
      @nancylouin2002 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      "We all know over the counter drugs can be dangerous"
      This may be true, especially tylenol which kills the liver in about 10,000 people/year when they are using it according to drs instructions. NSAIDS used to account for more adverse reactions and deaths than all other drugs combined, including anesthetic agents!
      The prescription drugs are, for the most part, much more dangerous and cause much more damage(iatrogenic harm)than supplements. Stuff like tylenol, ibuprofen, prilosec definately kill people every day and those are the ones most docs recommend.

      It comes from eating to many simple carbs for many years probably decades. No more pasta, bread, rice, potatoes, and never never eat anything with added sugar or corn syrup. No soda or fruit juices. Fruit is not your friend. Get a blood sugar meter and test your self to see your progress and see how certain foods affect your blood sugar. Check out beat diabetes on you tube. It's a good resource and not boring. Good luck

    • @AlanJan_UK_49
      @AlanJan_UK_49 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nor do they tell you the 36% reduction is a relative Risk Reduction and that the true, Absolute Risk Reduction for a statin is around 1%. Pharma likes to (ab)use statistics to suit their marketing. Pfizer did exactly the same with the covid "vaccine". ARR was 0.8% !!
