Edit: Holy cow. I know backseat gaming is annoying, and I don't usually do it. But you're gonna hate Arknights with the way you play. So, a couple of tips: 1. Put your attackers in front of your defenders. If your attackers have extra range, like Lappland, Arene, you can put it behind the defenders. 2. 2 stars are very underpowered, even by early game standards. Try using Kroos, Jessica, Totter. Or anyone else really- 3. Read. Read. Read. Every stage has a mechanic. Every enemy has an ability. Every class has its roles. Every class has a subclass that can do neat things that they can only do. 4. Don't forget to do the side stories that you can unlock with the red disc thingy. They have free operators. Some of them are really good. 5. Interacting with the fandom and community is the best part about Arknights. Don't feel afraid to ask around and speak to peeps : D

Also for as a tip, if someone is about to die, you can retreat them to reduce the redeployment time and get back some deploy points
