    ALWAYS spin it twice. That is the secret. As well as possibly adding a smidge more fluid at times

    • @soroh0062255

      Or leave it out of the freezer for about 10 minutes before spinning😎

      I LOVE the texture of the weird pebbly/powdery ice cream. Its like a version of dip n dots. Its amazing. I only ever spin it once and right out of the freezer. I know I should wait longer for it to defrost a little but if it breaks ill just buy another.

    Back in 2015 when vegan TH-camrs that only ate fruit were all over the place, I got “influenced” to make bowls of ice cream from frozen bananas. I never stopped but I hate the process so now that I’m aware of this thing, I want it so I can make my banana ice cream life easier 😂 😭

      Hey if you want to do that there is a better machine it’s called the yonana I have one and it is my favorite it’s less expensive smaller and you don’t need any liquid or to freeze it in a container you just take frozen fruit and put it in!

    Chef here these machines used to cost about 2k under the name pacojet, chefs used them in high end kitchens. however the patent expired allowing ninja to make this machine. only downside is plastic containers instead or stainless steel. for $20 this is a total bargain congrats. also drop your mint in the top or use blitzed mint in ice cube, helps to store it fresh and retain flavour.

    Hi I have a question about the Ninja creami, is it just a super powerful food processor or something? I understand that you can make sorbets and ice cream in it, but you can also use a good food processor to achieve the same effect for sorbets (ice cream is another story).

    • @frozenraspberries1552
      @frozenraspberries1552 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! It's not like a food processor, it's supposed to replicate a commercial kitchen appliance called a Pacojet. It is meant to micro-puree instead of just puree. The problem with making ice cream in a blender or food processor is that the blade can cause a lot of friction because it relies on cavitation to blend all of the food; and that friction=heat. Therefore it's really easy to accidentally turn your ice cream into a cold soupy mess while still having large ice crystals. A pacojet is more like a drill press. the blade is vertically pressed through the entire canister, and micro purees each individual layer. It's convenient because you can go from a rock solid product, and turn it into a silky, soft served ice cream without feeling chunky ice crystals.

    • @michealpersicko9531
      @michealpersicko9531 ปีที่แล้ว

      why with a normal ice cream maker you have to freeeze the bowl of the machine for 24 hours make your mixture churn it and then place it back in the freezer to firm up once its chilled. With this you just freeze it place it in the machine which only takes 2min 30 seconds to process the frozen mixture and you have ice cream you don't need to wait around for it to harden up.

    • @j.v3896
      @j.v3896 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michealpersicko9531 not every ice cream maker works like that. We do have (rarely used) one. That can churn and freeze the ice cream in 50 minutes (less with smaller amounts).
      And with this one you have to freeze the ingredients 24h in advance to make sure they are frozen solid. And since I know myself I know that if I want the ice cream then I want it right away. And I wouldn't want to wait a day for it. And since I'm terrible at planning I would also forget to always keep a mixture frozen for when I need it.
      Also the machine costs like 200€ and that isn't worth it to me

  • @RainyJo715
    @RainyJo715 ปีที่แล้ว

    Are there any equivalent machines that make bigger batches, like 2 quarts at a time? I looked at these, but didn’t buy one because it only makes such a small individual amount, which isn’t ideal for a family or even a couple, unless you want to make it constantly, which I don’t. We’re ice cream and sherbet lovers, and love fruit too, so we’d love this, but I have the 2 quart ice cream containers for the freezer that I use for my regular ice cream machine. That works for us, because I can make a batch or two and freeze as many 2 quart containers as I need, then there’s ice cream ready to go for a busy family, any or multiple times a week. I definitely don’t have time to pre-make a bunch of individual servings every day, or even every few days. Once a week would be pushing it, so maybe that’s why you found a deal on it. I think a lot of people probably have my same issue, they just want to make it and forget it, yet make enough to last a family. And Gawd forbid the dog’s like it too! Lol 🐶😂👍
