In the fight between reason and faith its faith that will always win. To that extent I can pardon Christianity for sticking on to blind faith . Even in Hinduism in dwaitha and vishithaadwaithaa philosophy faith is placed above reason. But the major difference logic and reason is given a free rein to make sense of the philosophy. If logic cannot go beyond a level Hindus use logic itself to explain its short comings. Logic and reason are understood by sixth sense only . However eternal truth is in the realm of the seventh sense or super conscious state. Hence logic / reason is a inadequate tool. That's why there is always an emphasis on direct experience and realization. There are enough indicators also to differentiate between a real and direct experience and hallucination or schizophrenia!!. Plus the biggest difference no effort to convert!!
