- I still cannot get over how small this is and yet it is one of the most functional travel pens ever! I think for the way that it writes, it may take over my love for Kawecos!

I would have to eyedropper that, can't stand cartridges, but it is very versatile. Best of luck with Parker, having hiccups with an animal that needs you almost 24/7 is rough. I have been through it, and they just stare at you because you don't know what they feel or want. Give her lots of love. Please show her in one of your videos when she gets better.

I've been lucky in my moves that my (now very-senior grandpa tabby cat) has had similar country environments, always with a back porch and woods/trees for us to take walks in (which we don't anymore). But when I changed his feeding station to accommodate dog-sitting, he was NOT having it! Cats are so sensitive to any change, never mind a new home. You're the constant in Parker's life, and I know that you are doing the absolute BEST for her! ♥

Gravitas, and ultem for that matter, benefit from a lot of hype in fountain pen world at the moment. For travel pens I'm actually fine with Kawecos. The small tins most come with are sturdy and well designed; they can hold a pack of cartridges as well as two pens. Plus the price point is definitely more affordable.
I've never seen one of these pens before. Thank you for showing it off to me. I'm interested in one. I'm so sorry about the troubles you're having with Parker. Maybe soon it will all calm down. Thanks again
Gravitas pens are my favourite European pens! They're a bit more expensive than Kaweco but provide much more value!

Interesting pen. I don’t think it’s something that I would buy, but it is intriguing. I have a Kaweco AL Sport that I really like, but I have trouble using it as an actual “pocket pen” as it always seems to either fall out when I sit (haven’t lost it yet, but had some close calls) or get in the way of other stuff I carry.
I have several Gravitas pens. They look great (mine, at least) and have been great writers. In fact, my very first Gravitas is one of my favorites in my collection of nearly 200 pens.
I agree, Emy (Pen Venture) is the best!

I standby my traveler's choice of the Kaweco Perkeo All Black, which can take a long cartridge and standard international converter, as well as narrow enough to fit a Diamine 30 ml bottle for a max fill, if the trip outlasts the cartridge. ABS plastic is a very durable material, and I always keep all pens in a travel case. It also costs a lot less than any Gravitas.
That's a Quark, which is even smaller than the regular pocket pen. Mine is in Delrin, which is better looking than the Ultem. It's an absolute wonder.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this compared to the piston sport. With the increased ink capacity and the nice ink window the piston sport is now my favorite pocket pen beating the travelers brass pen. The integrated clip on the piston sport makes me so happy compared to the add on clips. Not needing to worry about eyedroppering is so nice.
I have two Gravitas Ultem vac pens one is an Extra Fine Titanium nib with polymer feed the second is a 14k gold nib also Extra Fine and polymer feed in ust the Titanium more as it has a good flex
Cats usually hydrate via their wet food because they evolved out of the African desert. If you want her to drink more healthy water, get her a water fountain with a filter. Also, changing diet can help. When I saw Munchkin using the liter constantly for a big change over her siblings (she’s VERY private about these things, I knew it was trouble and she was the one peeing blood that suddenly turned up. That’s a sign of UTI which turned out to be gall stones. It was solved with changing to Hills CD for digestion. She only likes the dry, same as siblings who can eat it okay. I divide a can of general wet food among them for a treat. Unfortunately, Munchkin has since come down with cancer. Fortunately she doesn’t know it and is being kept comfortable for whatever time she has left. She’s a ten year old formerly feral cat who’s one of the sweetest and friendliest cat I ever met in my 72 years.
Oh sweet Munchkin, I hope she can be as comfortable and at peace when the time comes. That’s heartbreaking.
I do have a water fountain for Parker but she’s not using it right now. I know she will eventually like she did before but it will take time. For now I’m adding water to her wet food and it seems to be enough because she’s producing the same amount as before 😆
Indeed a neat and attractive travellers pen. The no. six nib is a standout difference, not sure about it as small gold nibs carry a certain allure, for me at least, and I am still fantasizing about a ...TELESCOPIC travellers pen 🤗. Come on all you pen manufacturers out there! ---there is a market for this ! It aired here first.
I used to work on occasion with a veterinarian. Her recommendations for urine alkalinity and inadequate fluid intake included adding tomato juice to the food, or, if you can get it, a product called Clamato, which is apparently tomato juice with clam juice added. Makes them thirsty, tastes fishy, is acidic. It could work, who knows.

Do you had any suggestions on how to reach Gravitas customer serbice? I have one of their larger pe s w/a fi e flex. It writes fabulously BUT LEAKS INTO THE CAP LIKE A FAUCET! I havent bee sble to get sany response from Gravitas or Pen Venture. Ive tried cleaning the pen, tightened everything, etc. But cannot stop ghe leaking. Ant ideas? Suggestions?

Why does that color exist? Could they make it in literally any other color?
That's the natural colour of the plastic used (Ultem, aka polyethermiride). Not sure why, but it seems rare to dye it other colours.
