I bake the oatmeal flavor-neutral so that it can be made sweet or savory almost like a hash brown patty! I cut and freeze 12 portions in a 13 by 9 pan. This video rocks! Thanks for all the ideas✌💜🎉💯‼️

Oatmeal yes! Overnight oatmeals are my go to breakfast. I grew up eating muësli and I love oatmeal smoothies (especially for dinner when I don't feel like cooking 😂). I always have a batch of oatmeal soaking in water in the refrigerator. Dates and frozen sweet dark cherries are my favorite sweeteners but I like swapping out for homemade blueberry syrup (dates and monk fruit are the sweeteners in this recipe. Tried with maple syrup but I found it overpowering the blueberries too much for my taste), flaxseed, wheat germ, and unflavored plant protein. I've mixed all kind of fruits and veggies including powerhouses such as moringa, ashwaganda, amla, beets, etc. My favorite spice combination for anything oatmeal is a mix of cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and a hint of turmeric. I love experimenting with food and so far so good. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾

I do something similar to the apple and oatmeal, but I drop everything into an small metal bowl inside an instapot with 1cm of water in the bottom, and pressure steam it for 7-10 min. Instead of maple, I add dried cranberries. It's a super quick and easy breakfast.

@@thenarddogcooks I have a quick question, All my life, I've always had issues with my hair being sort of on the VERY thin an 'limp' side. I tried the vegan diet for exactly 38 days, however prior to Me going vegan, I tried ALL sorts of supplements, SalPawmetto, Biotion, nothin worked, My physician advised Me about Collagen An its importance. So I then added: Collagen 1, 11, 111, V, X w/Amino Acids into my regular diet. I did this for 11 months not ONLY did my hair grow in much thicker, longer an FASTER, It had luster. My body looked kindof taught, My skin really seemed to glow. an added bonus, My joints and pains went away-I didnt need to take any more pain meds. When I decided to go vegan, my brutha advised Me that the Collagen is an animal product, that I could not use it any longer-When I went vegan for those 38 days my hair seemed to just not look no where near as full or as healthy as when I was on the Collagen, So I was just wondering, your hair is just so BEAUTIFUL is there a "vegan" type Collagen?

I feel exactly the same way about bananas. I cut them into small pieces and put them in a bowl on the side. I don’t know if it’s psychological or what but that’s what works for me and that’s what my husband gets also. However, frozen fruits or dried fruits go right into the Mason jar with everything else.

Thank you for the peanut butter alternatives for the oatmeal. I can eat peanut butter almost any other way: on a sandwich, on toast, on celery or an apple, in cookies, pies, or cakes, on sesame noodles, blah, blah, blah... you get the picture.
But something about oatmeal and peanut butter just does not work for my tongue. Tahini sounds like a blast.

I've made a similar recipe for baked oatmeal many times. It's infinitely customizable. Different chopped nuts and seeds, chocolate chips, mini vegan marshmallows, assorted dried fruits (apricots, raisins, craberries, etc).

I truly enjoy your videos and the recipes. I am just beginning TODAY to try more vegan foods. The recipes and techniques I have seen so far are quite appealing. I subscribed to your channel today and made my first recipe. It was quite good if I say so myself. Thank you for sharing your recipes, your insights and especially your wit. Rarely have I laughed so much watching food videos.

Just recently found your channel and I’m loving it!!!! Finally found a vegan channel that uses regular ingredients that you can easily find at the grocery store, and doesn’t call for all super expensive vegan brands that you may not like the flavor or is something you’ve never heard of, and taste like crap.😊🤣
