- Here Agrippa Maxentius (KevinB) and Iain Mcneil have a look at Black Lab games new masterpiece, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock. Testing out the new campaign in the name of the Quorum of 12, so say we all! -- Watch live at / slitherinegroup
Yes. Yes. After watching all the early gameplay here on TH-cam, I am so excited for this game. That said, I have the game on my Steam wishlist. August 31 can't get here soon enough.
Gigantic leap from the Star Hammer concept ( love the wego systems ) from what I see at campaign level, well done. Dynamic generation of the missions along the chapters looks good.
GET ME THIS GAME DUDE! :)
I think its out on the 31st I'm anticipating some epic fleet battles in early September.
Money is already in steam wallet.......
so if you recall a decimated viper squadron does it replenish to full strength in the hanger? Conceivably giving you the capability to launch it at full strength again during the same battle?
How long til we see more ship dlc like the Defender and Valkyrie classes being introduced? Also would like to see a change in sound with the gun fire from the vipers, raptors and raiders. Hope we get some more cool stuff from you guys on this game soon.
I would like to know if there will DLC in the future. For instance, the ability to build a Mars Class Battlestar like the Valkyrie or a Gunstar like the Berzerk.
Absolutely
Any chance for a second war DLC or a chance to lead a Mercury or Valkyrie type Battlestars?
Incredible music. Are there any plans to release a soundtrack alongside the game, as DLC or something?
Id pay hard dime for the soundtrack, especially that battle phase music, its pure eargasm.
such a damn shame that Caprica got cancelled...
Caprica wasn't that great though
I had the feeling it just started to become interesting... but yea, not everyones pair of shoes i guess..
Let´s just say i cancelled the the last bit of the story out and wrote my own :)
Caprica was a unique, intelligent show, I still mourn it. Getting a perspective on colonial culture was great and the whole retro, sci-fi setting mixed with Greek paganism was fascinating.
It dealt with family and relationships a lot but it wasn't soapy, simply a drama in a sci-fi setting with very compelling characters, especially Clarice. The monotheists were the bad guys, fanatical terrorists pretty much, so I wouldn't call it Christian propaganda either, not pro-Christian anyway.
When's this next out? It looks great
August 31'st
It is disappointing that someone didn’t take the time to test the audio level of both hosts before making this recording.
I'm waiting to see the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA in Blood and Chrome.
Are positive reviews a violation of the NDA i agreed to when accepted for playtesting?
You can certainly say it´s a good game... not why it is a good game though... it´s an NDA, not a "No negative press " agreement :)
Hi!
Taking part in the Beta and being able to review the game are two different processes. No Beta tester can break the NDA. If you'd like to obtain a preview or review copy for the game, please write to press@slitherine.co.uk :)
I officially can neither confirm nor deny that BATTLESTAR GALACTICA DEADLOCK IS AN AWESOME GAME!
;)
Thanks for the prompt feedback!
this would be better if it was open world kind of thing, is this not going end up like most strategy games? superior fire power wins?
