- The robot replica is constructed out of 310 individual printed parts, and contains 7 micro-servo motors to articulate the arms, neck and head. All parts were designed in Solidworks, and then 3D printed in PLA plastic using a Prusa i3 clone. Two geared 12V DC motors are used to power the wheels. The motors are all controlled by an Arduino Uno, which in turn is connected to a Raspberry Pi. The robot can be controlled over WiFi using a web interface.

Wow this just epitome of 3d printing at its finest. Now we can even print pcb's as well thanks to e3d's motion system Imagine in few years we will be able to download ram literally & even better make custom pcb's for even insane projects.

I am trying to make this thing but I am kind of a noob on the wiring, everything else is printed. How do I wire the battery to the buck board and the uno board?

What did you use for the plano-convex lens for the eyes (between ⌀31.5-32.5mm) I picked some up but now the camera can't see through it as it's zoomed in and blurry. Thanks.
Did you end up finding the right lens??

@@idjmic do you happen to have the link to the camera? I am so confused as to which one to buy. When I look up USB camera it just gives me very large cameras.
This is so cool! I've been doing a couple robotics projects myself (through ftc) and I've been trying to find something I could attempt by myself, that was more than just the smaller and simpler builds. I look forward to trying my own attempt at this!! Do you think the tracks would hold up if I took him to some different events? Assuming majority of the flooring would be concrete and sidewalk.

Hello. I have a problem that I don't understand. If I connect the RaspberryPi via HDMI to a display, I can access the Wall-E Controller web interface, but if I remove the HDMI cable, it no longer connects. Could you please help me?

Very good work, wall-e is printing right now! Tread-pinX-140 is very big i dont understand how it link the tread!
Good luck with the print! I've just reploaded the tread-pin-x140 file now; it seems I exported it in cm instead of mm by mistake. It should be about 8mm in length. Please let me know if you come across any other issues so that I can fix them!
